Anything that comes out of the mouth of any football player/staff, except perhaps James Maddison, is not worth an a ounce of my time. 99% because of Victor "something like that" Anichebe, the other 1% is just robotically trained BS they are forced to say. They're more than welcome to use social media for whatever else they want to, but this "Not our day. We'll keep pushing, fans were great as always 👊" bollocks when we lose, even the happy bollocks when they win, piss off. The LCFC admin can piss off with the "GD MORNING" tweets as well, not that we'll be seeing that again anytime soon.

On a lighter note though I don't get why people are bothered about them pointing out its Danny Tiatto's 50th today. Admittedly it's not news I care about but are they meant to just stay off social media for the week until we get some sort of positive result?

Disneyfication is the 'commercial transformation of things (e.g. entertainment) or environments into something simplified, controlled and safe.'  Football now maybe?

Yes, I understand, my Mandolorian comment was largely in jest(but I do quite like it as an andult) and it’s all about the ‘entertainment’ rather than the competitive sport element. However, think this has been happening (happened?) for quite some time

Apologies.

The cannon's are an actual embarrassment, rarely do they shoot past the first 6 rows.

If he's not starting, they should get Wilf firing them then.

Re. the t-shirt cannons: I shouldn’t be bothered that I’ve never got one, but I am.

I actually did catch one once. I wasn’t sitting in my normal seat; it was an FA Cup game, so I mixed it up and sat near the front. Sitting directly in front of me was a significantly ‘larger’ lady - her backside was minimum double the width of the stadium seat (just a factual observation).

The shots were fired; I stood alert. A pathetic salvo found its way into the general vicinity of said lady. She flailed her bingo wings and mashed her trotters at the rolled-up t-shirt, inevitability spilling it. With the reactions and sure-handedness of peak Kasper Schmeichel, I pounced on it. Finally, a t-shirt was mine! I couldn’t believe it.

Then, because I’m a beautiful soul, the guilt set in. Surely a humble man like me was not deserving of this great gift from the LCFC gods. Surely this lady shouldn’t miss out on this unbelievable gift because of her genetically ham-style hands.

“Do you want it?” I asked her earnestly, half expecting her to say no anyway - this t-shirt wouldn’t have fit round her thigh.

”Ah, gwan then” she replied.

And that was it. I had relinquished my dream without so much as a thank you. My beautiful garment was destined to be used by an obese lady to help demist her car window.

Those words “ah, gwan then” haunt me to this day; a reminder of what I lost and for zero gratitude. How dare she not even say thank you! Who doesn’t say thank you!?

So, ladies and gentlemen, let this story serve as a reminder that it’s a dog-eat-dog world out there, especially when it comes to t-shirt cannons. Fight for your t-shirt. Step over whoever you need. Punch as many grannies and kick as many children as you need to to secure your bounty, because nobody in this world will thank you for kindness and respect. THIS IS WAR.

Did she put ketchup on it or chomp it raw?!

The T shirt canons, caught two in all this time and handed them to kids near me since they'd never get them otherwise since I sit way back and they never normally reach that far, Christ, just realised at my age I'm probably better at catching than Danny :o
