OH Leuven Thread 23/24

...just looking at Brys, it wasn't as if he was angry or frustrated, he just seemed resigned to what was happening!!!

Either he has allowed for the style of play to take time to come together or he knows his time could soon be up.

Brys is a one-trick pony. He only know 1 style of play: counterattacking football. He has no idea how to play attacking football

Like one of our players told the media after the game: "we just didn't know what to do"

Like I said before, I really think we'll have a similar season as Leicester did last season. The time to sack the manager is NOW!!!!! This is our only chance if we want to stay up

...he probably cannot coach possession football, he may have seen it first-hand and watched Maresca in action, but his style of play has changed!!!

He looks to play out from the back and seems by and large that he has got a lot done in a very short time. The problem is trying to play this way whilst under pressure and you are not sure where you should be on the pitch, because you do not understand the system yourself.

Tonight there were a lot of good situations where players joined the attack too late and the width was not where it should be when it should be, because the player who should be in that position does not fully understand the system.

I suspect that we (Leicester) could be in a similar position tomorrow, as so long as we are playing at a low enough tempo we look good and can create. Once the tempo goes up, we struggle to think quickly enough, and the next thing they will be saying is "They had no idea what they were doing."

If we keep Brys? there has got to be a cut-off plan and hopefully succession planning, we cannot find ourselves (OHL) trying to save itself in the last couple of games of the season.

...74 mins 4 - 1 to Union, two penalties given away, OHL have a lot to do for the rest of this season!!!

Brys seems resigned to what is going on, Kiyine is an absolute liability and Banzuni and Opuku are versions of Soumare on the park. Not enough work rate from these two when their team are being pressed well by the opposition.
