Are we more connected to the club than last season or are they more connected to us?  We still hear nothing, the top brass haven't done an interview for 8 years apparently.  Was it 2-3 weeks BEFORE we knew Coady was out for 10??

FT is awash with transfer rumours, we generally have no idea what is going on.

I absolutely agree with these:

No VAR

Not having to pay attention to Sky's love-in with the same 6 or 7 clubs.

Not having to listen to low IQ pundits talking about our club when they don't know the first thing about us.  (ESPECIALLY).

But do I want the chance to go on European tour, more than anything, get to the latter stages of a cup, be the best team in Midlands if we can't be the best team in the League.

I just want to get straight back up, however scratty and dirty, its just about results, lets be up end March, early April, lets keep the current run of wins on at least till Soton & Norwich A.

If we do manage it (not planning ahead here), I just want to stay up next season and rebuild in the process and maybe have more players that want to play for Leicester City & the badge & the fans/support (that might be a pipe dream) we will see.

Think it's more "the team we're connected to rather than the club as a whole from last season"

May have already been mentioned, but the lesser prevalence of play acting, theatrics and simulation that abounds in the Premier League and that officials do little to penalise and pundits largely refuse to call out/name and shame. It's practically non-existent in the women's game which is another reason that watching the Lionesses this month has been so refreshing.

I'd rather have a few marginal calls go against us than have the joy of scoring sapped away most weeks.

When VAR works it adds very little emotionally but when it doesn't - it kills a game.

And you can't even guarantee this benefit either. I would at least understand the case for it if you could guarantee this - you would have a proper debate. In this instance, you're getting the usual bias and errors being made whilst guaranteeing the drawbacks as well. The amount of people who stop mid celebration to say "is he offside". It's an assault on the sport.

Playing some big clubs with big fanbases that we haven’t played in a while. The premier league outside of 8 or so teams is quite small these days, full of teams like Brighton, Bournemouth, Brentford, Luton etc historically third tier or below sides who don’t have  a fan base of more than 20k or so, but got there through smart recruitment and/or good ownership.

Big fanbase doesn't equal big club. Confusion. You're sounding like a Leeds or Newcastle fan.

Massive disconnect for me last season!!... Disgraceful witnessing the likes of Tielemans, Castagne, Soumare etc and 'stupid boy' Maddison with that penalty against Everton!!

Just want to support players who want to wear the shirt are aren't here just for the money!!!!
