I think this could realistically be one that if we do go up could be made permanent. If he does well of course. Its Chelsea, they are bonkers and will by 50 million players next summer regardless of finish. 

 

Hope he is a star, we need one.

Really? That is at best presumptive and rather over simplified.  Yes he's been unlucky with injuries, but the guy is 22 there's every chance he'll come back from his injury and be playing for France! Who knows what might have happened if he'd stayed with us, maybe no ACL, maybe an improvement on Amartey.  Honestly, i can't see any reality where buying Fofana can be an argument against signing a player without many top flight appearances (as was the original argument).

With the way they've spent they are banking on having saleable assets every season or they're screwed. Don't know if that means they'll be unrealistic on price. Wait n see I guess.
