Was getting slated a couple of weeks ago on here. I think he has been solid so far and looks as though he will grow in confidence with more game time.

It's almost a shame we are signing all these wingers as him and marcal have shown they are capable of playing at this level.

Competition keeps them on their toes.  We have a million defenders we can stock on wingers.

Both him and Wanya are versatile in multiple forward positions. The amount of games we'll play and the importance of our attacking players in this system means we'll need lots of them. They'll get their chance and push those senior pros to up their game further.

He could have still jumped though (maybe not) to distract or interfere with the line of sight of their goal scorer

Or he could have done what he did and focused on what was going on so he'd be able to react if the ball doesn't end up in the net?

It’s a bit hit and miss with Vesty as to whether b) is the likely consequence of a)

Granted he has issues with pace, and isn't that good in the air, but one thing you can say about him is that he reacts well and can break up situations .

Because teams do adapt the way they when they come up against a team with a reputation. It's not saying no one knows or studies opposition teams.

The best teams play "their way" and don't change. I'm not saying we're the best by the way, but I don't think we'll change the way we set up, regardless of the opposition, we'll go into each game looking to dominate possession.

Many on here are worried, and rightly so based on early performances so far, that when we play Leeds, Norwich or Southampton we'll get found out, but that fact is they could adapt their systems completely (as we did on every occasion that we played a Man City or a Liverpool) because we arrive with a reputation of playing "our" way. Sometimes it works, often it doesn't. But it leaves us in the unknown as to how those games might go. We're looking at Leeds, for example, and the way they play against Cardiff or Ipswich and assuming they'll set up the same way against us and turn us over. We, the fans, have a lack of faith and patience in this style and we're already assuming it won't be good enough against better opposition because they've looked better than us against different teams than we've looked against the teams we've played.

What comes in front of us,not really bothered.Predicting outcomes, nice for the pub table…

It stays new manager, new system new challenge..and that stays with us the rest of the season..46 games long.

I don’t see anyone,I would yet stamp stronger than us…Just other  sides who look more favourable, the names will be counted

when the individual teams meet. Underwhelming one’s own club is not my thing,.

Should do‘s or should have’s totally incorrect vocabulary & irrelevance in sport, more so in team games…..

Prefer to just enjoy new & older club players embracing the new  challenge & openly trying to put in top performances, and enjoy those games within games, individually and has team…New investments, nobody is disappointing  my expectations, because after 4 games I have non, that makes me interested, or what other teams will do to us…

I always find it in our situation quite a strange thought on one’s own team.

But heyho that’s me…

We buy 5-6 quality players, and we have dozo more fans worrying more on who/ what we haven’t got…

I think people have the right to boo just as they have a right to clap if they want, it’s a bit of an ineffective gesture at this point

It's literally beneath childish. I bet most don't even know what they are booing anymore.
