How many championship games will be have won by the end of the season?

35 games left and even if we go at just win/draw/lose every three games between now and the end of the season it would still put us on 78 points which would assure a playoff spot. 

 

Not going up in the top two spots from here would be as much if not more of a collapse as when Rodgers blew two attempts at CL qualification.

There will be a period where we don't string together win after win during the season. 

However would be gobsmacked if that ever goes on for more than 3 games without a win. 30 wins is very realistic now in my opinion.

In the NHL, the two best teams in the regular season (including the Boston Bruins last spring) lost their opening round playoff series. It’s not about points, it’s about the cup, err promotion.

40+ seemed the most realistic so went with that. I would have gone for 45 but it wasn’t an option

87 points is about average for 2nd place.
