Best strat for Max now is to drive defensive and let the Ferraris run away. If Lando can only get 15, it’s not so bad if Max finishes a place or two behind him

However, he will continue to shove people off the track until the rules are changed.  You can't change the circuits to fit the rules.

Once you allow Max to do as he likes without penalty, the others have had enough of it.  I think there's an element of them deliberately behaving in this manner so that the FIA has no choice but to stamp down on it.

 

That starts by dealing with Max and making changes to the rules.
