Poor performance yet again. Simply not good enough. Just look at the stats, 35% possession with just 1 shot on target over 90 mins. It's not until added time that we really pressure them. Thought we would be much improved under this new manager seems like I was wrong.

1-0 defeat as I post.

I used to watch the women, clearly still have an interest, which is why I'm here, but I just can't bring myself to watch them now, after seeing then under this manager. So poor and boring.

stopped watching at HT wasn't single redeeming feature in that first half.

not having a single striker fit is a huge issue, they need to be looking for one that's a free agent to bring in

On our way back from Crawley, such a poor performance again.

Watched the players off the coach and during the warm up, and they don’t look happy.

I know the injury list is what it is, but it’s such a negative set up.

Tierney was on crutches at the end, told us she’ll need an x ray and hopes it’s not too bad.

Injuries aside, this manager is taking us backwards without a doubt.

Is that ground as grim as it looks on TV?

Yes, one side is like a cowshed, probably better grounds in Non League. Stewards were idiots.

Club coach left at 7am 😂 we’ve taken a minibus down at 8.30 this morning. Got them again 3 weeks time away in the conti cup

Not heard anything, same with O’Brien.
CJ Bott didn’t travel today.

could that be due to international travel? Both Japanese players were left on the bench too

Momiki had a slight knock, Takarada not in form.  Not sure on CJ.

The girls are not having much luck with injuries. Let’s hope it improves very quickly

It’s desperate, Petermann is nowhere near, Rantala won’t be back this side of Christmas, Mouchon ACL, no update on O’Brien either.

They could do with a free transfer on short term deal till the end of the season.

Its unfortunate, but we cant even get it up to the striker right now.

That performance against Arsenal some have brought up, it turns out Arsenal are having a bad season as well.

If I remember right O Brien has been very injury prone?

Had a problem with Quadriceps initially, that reoccurred last season. She got back into the side but got whacked on her ankle on England duty u23s, she played through pain v Spurs in the fa cup semi and got booted again by Kit Graham during that game.

Brief appearance v Arsenal but essentially she now has a long and troublesome ankle injury that was near to fixed but has had a setback. Hasn’t played for 6 months or more.

well we had to take Mace out of our midfield to play as the striker and now using Cayman who would be part of the build up, just having a focal point will help, someone the players know is a proper striker will lift them and give better options to progress

Anyone travelling to the West Ham LCWFC game tomorrow, if you had an email this morning it said Fox Travel coaches leave at 9.45am and had a link for more info. Under more info however it said they leave at 8.30. The club have been made aware of the mistake. The women's coaches definitely leave at 9.45am (It's the mens coaches that leave at 8.30am).

All women's games available to watch for free this season live on YouTube (and you can watch afterwards if it clashes with men for a while): https://www.youtube.com/@BarclaysWSL

Spot on, our midfield is light regardless of injuries, Pelgander hasn’t set the world alight and there’s only Takarada now that Tierney is out.
I’d try Rose and Goodwin on the wings and Chossonotte as striker, with Momiki behind her, I think that is all we have left as forward players!
Im heading down to West Ham, was hoping Miquel would have picked someone up on a free, the bench will be interesting today, full of kids I guess.

Found this post. :)

FNF hit 14k attendance at its peak. :)

What match was that? I used to go but can remember when man u came with a few of their star players in and the ground was rammed, so many turned up that they just opened the gates and let people in without paying. I was in the kop so not sure if they opened the top tier of the double decker but the place was buzzing like a normal Matchday.

We won 3-1 and Sam McMahon in midfield had a great game, I thought he was going to be the next big thing but I think injuries did for him in the end.

I go with my daughter from time to time, or at least we did (just once this season so far ).  We haven't seen city score a goal in our last 4 visits to the kp.  I really find it difficult to see where a goal is going to come from.  Little or no goal threat at all.

On a slightly different note, i think playing at the kp with only 2000 or less in attendance isnt helping matters .  It feels soulless.  Echos and quiet .  That can't inspire anyone.  Im not sure if Hinckleys ground is still open or useable (not been by that way for years) but somewhere like that would generate a far better atmosphere for the players and fans.  I can't imagine lcfc are making much, if any money opening the kp and paying staff, stewards, electric etc for 1500 to 2000 people. Might be worth looking into, but what do i know.

If you are talking about the Leicester Road stadium, it would certainly be a good fit for the crowd however it has to be a certain standard, the car park isn’t great and think the Landlord would probably want a million quid to use it!

Fair points.  But I think when you consider the vast sums squandered on (average and poor) players that they cant move on wages, clappers, poor tranfers in recent years on the mens side, an investment in the Leicester road ground or a contribution to renovating it with conditions attached, is small fry if they are serious about a decent womens team and matchday experience for the fans.
