Why do 99% of all ceremonies always come across like a 19 year old university student doing a degree in the Psychology of Fashion and dance  have created the whole thing.

Not all of them though. Athens 2004 opening ceremony was a masterpiece.

I thought ours was pretty good.

Yes London 2012 was excellent too. Any Olympic Ceremony that celebrates history is good. This one day was a disgrace. A cheap fiasco, another Eurovision crap show. Dreadful.

The rain hasn't helped. I suspect the crowd was meant to be the athletes around this stage, but most have left because of the weather, making it look like them strange COVID time crowds.

Rain has nothing to do with the artistic direction though.
