You’re talking from an emotive stance, and these decisions must be made on facts. Getting knocked out of the FA Cup doesn’t warrant a sacking. We finished 8th that season. Behave yourself!!
Pliskin Posted 24 August 2024 Posted 24 August 2024 The problem for Cooper, is we’ve gone from a manager who asserted himself immediately, and almost straight away got a wayward ship back on course. Cooper has come in, and there seems to be confusion and a lack of identity again. It’s not a good reflection on a manager when he seemingly looses such control almost immediately…. But he doesn’t help himself, he says he hasn’t changed much, yet we’re unrecognisable, says we need goals, and he signs Jordan Ayew……. It just won’t work, you can see it unfolding already, and unfortunately it won’t change, because I just don’t think he’s a competent coach, he had a good spell at Forest, but he only kept them up because us, Southampton and Leeds were so poor. I’m very concerned, and just have absolutely zero confidence in him. 3 1
mod hero Posted 24 August 2024 Posted 24 August 2024 I think Everton might finally go this season, newly promoted teams to scrap out the rest of the drop zone.

Mr.Bingles Posted 24 August 2024 Posted 24 August 2024 Is it too early to call for the sacking of our next manager? Whoever he is, where ever he is, he is a waste of space with zero tactical ability. 1 2

I think they’re gonners too. It’s funny though, a guy in Costco was telling me he was worried Villa were gonna go down, and I can’t see that. Maybe we’re all just negative f**kers deep down.

We’re not talking Cooper at the moment, we’ve been discussing Brendan. And he didn’t deserve sacking in Feb 2022. The complacency seriously set in after the summer transfer window 6 months later and should’ve gone by Christmas.

It should be high on Rudkin's to do list! He should be sending P45's to at least 4 o 5 mediocre managers in the champinship and/or some european leagues. It might be worth sacking Big Sam as early as next week.

Yeah he should. The team (a very, very good team) was evidently on the decline under him. Pitiful exit to Roma in Europe followed (after failing with said good team in the EL) with the 8th place coming courtesy of playing either relegated teams are crap who were already safe. In my opinion it wasn’t the correct time until after that summer.

You do realise that the last time we went to Craven Cottage we conceded 5, with arguably a more superior team?
James_lcfc Posted 24 August 2024 Posted 24 August 2024 Apologies if I’ve missed it, but has he been asked why he’s starting BDCR over Mavididi? It’s just a decision I can’t wrap my head around. Bewildering.
