Not really an in/out comment but for a lesser manager from what we have had recently he can obviously motivate & get a tune out of Soumare, does that go in the + column

Yes.  If he keeps us up that's a massive win.  But if he also makes Soumare look a player whilst doing it then he may just be a miracle worker.

He didn’t grind out a result, Ipswich threw it away.

Getting largely dominated until they got a man sent off is grinding out a result?

Right now this week yes

Are you seriously saying that, as of today, we are safe and there is 0% chance that we will be relegated?

So the relegation zone and the relegation battle are the same thing then?

Simple explanation for you

were not in the relegation zone right now , maybe you would prefer we were personally I’m happy we’re not.

Simple explanation for you, we are in a relegation battle. The term isn't reserved for those exclusively in the bottom 3.

Have you just started watching football?
Right now we’re in a half decent position, take it and move on

We will be in a battle all season no doubt, but take being above the rest

Can argue semantics but as it stands we’re 5 points clear of relegation, we’d have all taken that before the start of the season.

You could even look at it as twice as many points as 18th position

Please don't insult my intelligence.

No, I haven't "just started watching football". And yes, we are in a half decent position. Probably in a better position than we deserve to be.

My argument is that anyone saying that we are now safe would be the one who has "just started watching football".

You absolute numpty.

Dominated by a team who had less possession and two shots on target?

I still haven’t seen a compelling argument other than “we’re not in the bottom three”.

Funny how that seems to pop up when those late goals go in.

Not been great to this point but at least he finally picked what I think, is our best side. N’Didi on thin ice though

Lazy, can't run, barely makes a meaningful challenge. The occasional decent pass is not enough. The only thing he has in his favour is height and physicality.

Well if your opposition breaks the rules causing them to be dealt within the rules, then sure.
