Hes absolutely not worse than Peter Taylor, that is absolute garbage. Taylor had nearly 2 seasons to build his squad and at that time A LOT of investment. Rudd has basically had, well **** all, no money no nothing and people are expecting him to polish absolute turds he didn't even choose with a load of Coopers useless staff for 3 months,  hes had issues but anyone cant see he has been given a tragic hand, not to mention the absolute crap communication from the club, im really struggling to find many people who would come to this club who could make a good situation out of this mess.

Taylor and RvN are definitely the worst two. RvN’s statistics will never been beaten, they are that awful, but granted Taylor inherited a successful team that had just finished eighth and was given a lot of cash.

I agree that any manager would struggle with this lot, but Cooper (who a lot of people on here think was useless) far outperformed RvN in every stat going with the same squad of players, so the evidence is there that this season didn’t have to be so dreadful and the embarrassing records could have been avoided if we’d had anyone but Ruud (and Vardy would have comfortably hit 200 goals).

Load of rubbish. It's all "ifs". I could argue if's for every single manager in the World. Why should those games have been draws? We shouldn't have draw at Villa for example, they were the better team.

End of the day we broke the football league record for not scoring goals under his management. He is the worse we've ever had.

This position is understandable only if you think we didn't make or create any chances in that run, which we did, they just wasted them, the first bad run we created 5.21 xg , scoring 1 goal before Tottenham ,then 3.13 in the run afterwards, its not great numbers, but if your team creates 8 xg but your players are scoring 1 goal then there's something seriously wrong with the quality of players

For some unknown reason & logic ,  I think he can take us back up unless we get some hefty points deduction.

His record is pathetic but I've hated other managers so much more over the years.

People want someone with authority like Pearson and I think he has shown that by dropping Winks and Vesterguard.

It could work out if we clear out the players that are not interested in being here.

Ruud clearly doesn’t want to be here but yeah let’s keep him next season and see him fvck it up in another division. Ffs.
He has absolutely no interest in bringing thru young players and will persist with shit like Ayew and Dcr.
Get rid as soon as the season ends.

Thomas, Mcateer and Monga have featured recently what do you mean ?

It’s more down to being forced to with injuries and as a last resort.

Thomas has started the last 6 games, Mcateer has started when fit and obviously Monga only has just came into the mix, maybe with Brain Murphy Brown and King advising him it may be a turning point in regards to the future and youngsters coming through.

I hope you’re right. I’m just struggling to get my head around anyone wanting Ruud in charge next season. A few decent results at the end of the season don’t hide the fact he’s a dreadful manager.

He came into a shitshow as a one man band players not committed etc the recent addition of King and Brian Murphy Brown may be the difference in it working. I dunno.. I just can't see us brining in someone else having just employed him and 2 coaches to work along side him.

He’s been diabolical there is no denying that, but for one reason or another he wasnt allowed to put his stamp on anything in the transfer window and that isn’t his fault. It’s also not his fault he has a rather large bunch of useless footballers to do his talking for him.

im not fussed if he goes, but im also not against giving him a dozen games next season. And provided we are at least top half of the table during that period, let him see what he can do

As much as a shitshow that it’s been I still think a more experienced manager doesn’t lose 17 out of 19 games and go 9 consecutive home games without scoring.
They’d be a few wins and draws in there.
I’m not saying we’d win most of them but we’d of got at least 2 or 3 wins and a few draws.

I have seen absolutely nothing from him tactically during games.
His approach seems to be go out there and try your best.

There seems to be nothing about trying to stop the opposition from playing.
He’s more interested and concerned with the opposition players than his own.
As well as having zero interaction with our fans.

For anyone suggesting that Ruud staying is a good idea, please listen to Monday’s WYS pod.

Dominic Wells raised great points in relation to his complete lack of tactics.

Ruud is a Dutch Rooney and shouldn’t be anywhere near a managerial position of a club that wants to be taken seriously.

I can see where you are coming from, I'd agree on most points... just think the additions of Brain Murphy and King along with Ruud we would have a good chance of getting promoted.

He has been here 6 months has more knowledge of the squad and whats req.

It would be nice of him to interact with the fans at Ipswitch if he wants to stay though... I think he has the authority for sure, maybe he was playing it safe with selections I dunno... could be a different story next year though.

I think its harsh to judge him after 6 months esp after what he was brought into

This is massive for me. An effective and passionate communicator like big Nige or similar and I'd be open to next season. But the grinning and hugs with the opposition inspire a hate in me

a lot of managers do this

I have to disagree about having more knowledge of the squad. This is a guy who thought Ward was an adequate gk. Not only giving him the Newcastle game but the horror show of wolves at home and recalled Faes as soon as he was fit even though Okoli played and scored the week before. Start’s Stolarczyk when Mads is injured when we beat spurs and Mads is instantly recalled.
Give someone else preseason and we’ll be in a better position than with Ruud.

Yea some horrors in there for sure hard to do everything on your own though, he didn't have a team of people around him or time to assess anything he was thrown in the deep end with no staff

He had coaching staff just not his own.
There were 2 that got sacked beginning of the year. I forget their names.
Let’s not forget he bought in a gk coach and yet still picked Ward.
He can ask them they’d both been at the club for a while.

Monga’s only getting game time because one of Ruud’s favourites - ‘The Ghost of Bobby de Cordova Reid™️’ is injured and thus not able to haunt the right wing

After 1 game he realized he wasn't up to scratch surely that's a good thing ?

I doubt that is the case.

It’s absolutely true. Monga’s game time on the right has only increased since RVN hasn’t been able to pick Reid in the squad due to his timely injury.
