I don't rate RvN, and I hope he's off once the season is done (he's clearly not going before is he?) but it says it all that no-one has even bothered to engage in dialogue with him and let him know where he stands.

Is that cowardice or just total incompetence? Or a bit of both?

He might be a shocking manager, but he's been employed to do a job. At least talk to the guy. Absolute clowns 🤡

I’ve come to realisation that only person makes decisions at LCFC and that is the owner.

Under Khun Vichai LCFC were decisive and assertive and while many of the decisions weren’t by any stretch perfect, it always felt there was forward momentum. Under his son, it is the absolute opposite.

I think RvN’s departure won’t be confirmed until the after the Ipswich game which I expect Top will be attending. He will of course get his lap dog Rudkin to deliver the news but logically this is when the decision will be made.

The ownership and decision making model is broken, probably beyond repair.

I pasted it on here. He wasn’t saying he is staying, more questioning the logic behind him still being here whilst Southampton pulled the trigger on their second manager, and going through Tops latest match day notes

I was more commenting on the reaction of here.

Not sure Southampton are in a better spot having sack their second manager.

I expect it to be similar to Dean Smith.

Quite a few seem to be changing their minds and giving RvN the benefit of the doubt now. One win against the worst team to ever play in the Premier League and he’s suddenly good enough. I’m speechless.

We’ve been starved of goals and wins so much that one win feels so positive and nice, because for Ruud a win is a rare commodity.

Sacked?

If he had any integrity and decency he would just walk but like most people in football he is inherently a greedy fvck just bothered about money and his big pay off

Think we know nothing is going to happen yet. Going to be after the season now.

At the minute, that's the best case scenario.

A lot of people (myself included) are starting to worry he'll be here next season, as well.

The lack of comms may be based on advice from their legal people.   If no one has spoken to him (this may not be true btw) it’s much more likely that the plan is for him to leave at the end of the season.   If there genuinely is uncertainty from our side then surely we’d be discussing plans for next season on the basis that he might stay.

Im more worried that they **** around until the end of June, then it puts us at a massive disadvantage going into next season, which is looking like the exact route this bunch of clueless halfwits will take.

Whatever you think of RVN he is correct in that this should be communicated to the fans instead of this complete pathetic silence.

So you'd just walk out from your job without a pay off would you? Of course he shouldn't. Firstly we don't fully know the circumstances he inherited (other than a bunch of largely crap players who largely think they're better than they actually are). His reputation is ruined and he's hardly going to get a bundle of offers. We don't know what he was told when he took the job.

It's just a job to footballers and managers full stop. There is no loyalty either way. I want him gone too but if I was him I too would rinse Leicester City for what I could get. The problem is far less with him anyway, Top is the problem, he's a bumbling idiot.

I agree largely with you bud

however I disagree re the walking out bit, he is hardly on the breadline so the money won't matter to him as much as it would a Joe bloggs in life

rinsing LCFC however much they deserve it won't help the club in the long run

We know how shit Top is at decision making….. Ruud gets a couple of good results and I genuinely think that could be enough to convince Top to let him have a go….. I mean, we recruited him because he beat us twice in a row…….
