As I posted elsewhere in the forum, Cardiff City fans have got their act together. Marches, scarves, banners. Headline publicity associated with that.

We can only dream of this level of action

What technology do Led by Donkeys use? Broadcast a video about it on the side of the stadium for the Sky cameras when we play Brentford. Probably little they can do if it's projected from land that isn't theirs.

Are you organizing the billboard for the Protest on the 15th? Or a different time?

Ideally for the next home game yeah.
We’re up to about £135 now. So we’re making decent progress.

Also, if people want to submit a message to feature on the van, please either share it on here or if using Twitter please use the hashtag: #LCFCbillboard and we’ll collate them all.

@ozvaldo what day are you thinking of doing this? This same day as project reset at the arsenal home game? Or before? Could we do it on transfer deadline day?

I was thinking if we can raise the funds in time in order to get it in and around the stadium for the next home game, it will give us a decent shot of picking up more press coverage as well as fans sharing on their socials too.

I think the police will just move the vehicle on.... Could be a waste of time and money.

Banner outside the main entrance before and after the game, likely to be more effective.

I’ve spoken to 5 companies who specialise in this type of activity around football stadiums.
And policing has been on the agenda. All 5 have told me they know how to get around any confrontation. They tend to get there early, scope out legal loading bays and open roads to ensure they don’t get stuck in tight spots.  The companies I’ve spoken to have worked on similar campaigns with the likes of Sheff Wed and Reading recently.

Any higher profile premier league teams? As we know security for prem games is of a higher standard/expectation.

Just a thought, but don’t they close the roads round the ground about an hour before kick off. Would you need to get it in and park it?

Hi mate

The companies I’ve spoken to who will provide and drive the van will get in early to scope out the best spots.
These companies specialise in this sort of activity and I’ve explained that certain roads close pre-match (Raw Dykes).

They can circulate around roads close to the stadium as well as move to legal loading bays and parking spots to attract fans walking towards the stadium from different locations.

Is this planned to coincide with the protest pre-Arsenal? If so I'll chuck some in come pay day at the end of the month.

A lot of people can say the anger and dismay is only there because of the on-pitch performances but tbh its been a frustration for quite a while now and change needs to be forced through by the fans as it's not likely to come from the top.

Ideally yes.  It just depends on when we can hit the target.  I've reached out to 5 companies to give ourselves the best chance of having a van available for the Arsenal game.

It would be logical sense for it to be at the protest.

Yeah true, there was just no date mentioned at the beginning so assumed it would make sense to have this at the same time, maximum impact and hopefully more photo opps for any coverage

If you decide to donate, I recommend choosing the option to keep your full name anonymous. It's better to be cautious there's no telling how the club might use that information. Play it safe and avoid any risks.
