Really intrigued what the club will suggest regarding priority points. Whatever they do, it'll upset a section, just as the current system does. So can't hurt to try.

“The majority of attendees at the meeting were in favour of further random ID checks being carried out for away games to prevent sales being made to fans who are buying tickets and then selling them on just to earn the points, it is not feasible to check every away ticket.”

Graeme from Pride was there then?

Some fan base this. More checks.

There is no demand this season for away tickets. Next year with 23 away games there will be even less demand. We have bigger issues than this to sort surely.

Funnily enough the random ticket checks don't seem to be random

** This isn’t a dig at FT. More so the club for creating themselves unnecessary work to incorporate more control

I was at the meeting and if making a report I would have worded it as - the club explained what happened when they did away ticket checks and were surprised how many were not collected almost 50% at times. The wide conversation from those present was that a lot of people are seen at away games who would seem to not fit the profile for high points numbers. Thus eliminating fans who should be getting tickets. Comments were also made about high priority points members buying tickets to sell or pass on to maintain status. The club asked was there support for reinstating collect and verify checks. The mood of the meeting was to support this suggestion. Slightly different take on the conversation.

Genuinely curious, what is the profile for high points numbers?

Sums FT up if they think most supporters want more checks and admin

How do you know it was the FT?

The FT are simply passing on what was discussed

Every time I see feedback from these meetings I'm convinced this club has lost its soul. It's becoming more and more difficult to just be a match-going fan.

You're not wrong. It has now become so unenjoyable for me to be a match-going fan. After following the club at home, away and abroad since the seventies, I'm done with it.

Never thought the day would come but I don't even see myself missing it with the way the club is now.

I think these sessions are honestly a waste of time. It looks like the club continue to lead the conversations and engineer the answers they want. All hidden behind the BS of “we listen”.

When it comes to protests etc I’d really like to see supporters and supporters groups not attending these. Giving the sessions any credibility whatsoever does us fans zero good.

We all know it was come on

As per the FAB meeting minutes, it was mentioned and backed by the leader of Foxes Pride.

As a member of the Trust board, I tabled the 19 points priority points proposal and asked for it to be mentioned I didn’t agree with the collection policy. Particularly with TV selections and failing public transport options.

He’s ****ing wild that boy Graham. An incredible example of a fan group leader not representing anyone but themselves.

Not sure how you’ve taken a Fans Consultative Committee meeting organised by the club, and attended by one member of the Foxes Trust board so that it could be reported back to the fans, as the Trust advocating for ticket collections?

Pretty wild leap to make, that. And I can categorically tell you it’s an incorrect one at that.

As Global Fox posted above, as they attended the meeting and gave more of the background behind the majority at the meeting being in favour of random of random ID checks.

With over 50 fans attending, with 2 Foxes Trust representatives present, we can confirm that neither of them raised the topic.

Equally, Graham from Foxes Pride did not attend the meeting and the topic of away priority points revisions has not been discussed at Fans Advisory Board level yet, the findings of the 90 Minutes session will be discussed next at the Fans Consultative Committee at the end of April and then the Fans Advisory Board in May.

Foxes pride have been the ones pushing for it to come back.

Can only see it as the club ask them to raise these things in meetings, so when rules are brought in they're "fan lead".

If you only read the above summary written by the trust, and not the meeting minutes (are they released?) you'd have no idea who raised the point of ticket checks.

The wording of  "The majority of attendees at the meeting were in favour of further random ID checks being carried out for away games" can be interpreted by the reader as you guys, or anyone in the room having brought it forward.

Would it be at all possible to identify what actions or suggestions the trust have brought forward to these meetings? Even if that doesn't include naming other trusts suggestions, it at least removes the questions regarding what the trust have and haven't raised.

I think the latter point is very fair. Obviously the trust can’t name individuals unless they are willing to be put on record or they are on record but that the trust state what we’ve brought to the table is a good idea

There has been less demand for away tickets this season than ever before. We're sending tickets back to Man City, not the first time that's happened for an away game this season.
