cisono Posted 21 December 2005 Posted 21 December 2005 And now they're missing out! Yup, I really feel for them!
shen Posted 21 December 2005 Posted 21 December 2005 Found it through Foxes Online which I in turn found through Newsnow Great forum, great people!
Anish Posted 21 December 2005 Posted 21 December 2005 I was on the OS for a while before I got infuriated by its inept layout and painfully slow site. It is still stuck in the dark ages I believe although I've not bothered to go on it for a year and a half now. Mark aka Mr C was a bit of a spammer on the OS messageboards and that brought me here! Spamming does work! Top notch site this is too.

I only visited that site briefly, swore a couple of times and gave up on it immediately. That site is NOT FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION! Indeed... that's why we are here
Cat Burger Posted 21 December 2005 Posted 21 December 2005 Petrescu PM'd me when I was on 'The football forum'.
Foxes_Wizard_Striker Posted 22 December 2005 Posted 22 December 2005 I was searching for a decent picture of David Connolly in google when I clicked a link and bingo here I come along
Katy Posted 22 December 2005 Posted 22 December 2005 Therapy for me too really, was having a tough time with one thing or another and Stez of all people pointed me in the direction of Foxestalk, although it took him ages to register himself for some reason I was registered on the OS for about 4 years but only posted about 5 times and Fox fanzine as well for ages but that annoyed me with its cliqueness. Foxestalk is defo the best, ive met so many lovely and nice people on here its definately helped me so thankyou nice people
Darth Fox Posted 22 December 2005 Posted 22 December 2005 Site is easy to use and attractive and it helps that 8 hours at work to pass more quickly and i can log out quickly when my boss is hovering I may be at work till up till 18:30 tomorrow so foxestalk may be a lifesaver tomorrow and I'll try not to wind up people tomorrow
Foxes 2 da grave Posted 22 December 2005 Posted 22 December 2005 i was sick of seeing a friend at work on a liverpool forum so i found my own
Jon the Hat Posted 22 December 2005 Posted 22 December 2005 Found it through Foxes Online which I in turn found through Newsnow Great forum, great people! Same. I think It was through the newsnow link on the Forfoxsake site. I was travelling at the time, and needed something other than the bland reportage of the main sport sites. It makes a big difference when you can't watch any or many games to be able to read the views of people who saw the game and are in touch with what is going on. Cheers!
werestandingup_weresittingdown Posted 22 December 2005 Posted 22 December 2005 the first board i used was the OS forum which i found really really boring and the huge signatures that accompanied most members posts were RIDICULOUS!!!! really put me off having to scroll down the page for 2 minutes to read the next post! So glad this is not the case here. This place seems good fun and also most members seem to be pretty clued up in their football knowledge!! although some seem to be slightly dissillusioned
Rincewind Posted 22 December 2005 Posted 22 December 2005 Well when the OS dropped off a bit I was bored and sawe the spamming and thoughtr why not? The layouts better and its easier to past pictures and I like the edit and quote feature. Some overdo the smileys <_< but its bearable. Also its easier to spam my messageboard and more people have taken notice off here. It would be nice to get that one up to 2000. Only 1988 to go I don't read all the posts in all the forums though like I do on the OS. Probably cos on there NEW posts are displayed when you ento which is a plus to them. A plus to FT is that they display the poster of the last message so you can ignore them before opening the post and finding a post that infuriating that you have to reply which causes problems and long threads which are eventually deleted by the friendly and (totalarian?) Mods. Cant think of anything else good to say abut this site.

Well you can click on View New Posts on here and if you then select the little orange auare it will take you to the last unread post - simple really or did you mean something else?
