Ruud is right, there will be ample happy clappers and those comfortable in the matchday routine and social aspect, regardless of how the club is run or the quality on the pitch.

Yes, probably all football clubs in this country take their fans for granted but its those same fans that have a choice.

If the KP is regularly at 50% capacity next season i will suck a dick cos it just isnt going to happen:brendan:

I think in league one 16 years ago the crowd attendances were nothing special but good for that level - 20K on average at home I think. An interestng season but a culture shock at times also. Next season back in the Championship will see more sparse attendances than last season though (where attendances were about the same as now!), I'm confident of that.

I can tell you now, the fanbase will start to shrink, if it hasn't already.  For instance, the youngsters coming through just starting to get into football, will probably want to give supporting lcfc a miss, as it'll just cause them embarrassment.  Then add to that the insane match day costs especially for families, there needs to be a big price reduction on match day ticket costs next year.

Those of a certain age will remember struggling to anywhere near fill filbert street, I remember a time we could hardly muster 10k for many games.  And that was when it was affordable to many more people.  Year on year of stagnation and regression at the club eventually takes it toll in terms of support.

As others say, it can already be seen with the struggle to fill the stadium now. Wasn't long ago they were turning their noses up at putting anything on general sale, now virtually every game makes it to general sale. Many away tickets are available to members, even after slashing the numbers available.  If we have a average or bad year in the championship, it isn't going to get better anytime soon.

Even in the early days at the KP I had a spare ticket for months as my sone was unable to go and I couldn't give it away.

Winning the Prem. changed it all thereon I think (and within the club's hierachy). Up until then it was relatively easy to go to any game you wanted as just a member, not necessarily as a STH. I can only get to about 3 games or so a season at the KP on average and can muster a ticket each time through one of my STH contacts there but sorry I find the prices eyewatering now on a pay per game basis and paid £55 for the ticket per se for the Forest and Man City games this season! That is very off putting, particularly when the team are as bad as they have been this season! Surely they have to lower them for next season!

I’m usually pretty confident that I’m a good parent, but I feel incredibly guilty for introducing my son to LCFC.

Character building pal he’ll thank you for it when we win the Johnstone paint trophy on our way back up in a few years

"I think Leicester fans were born as Leicester fans and will stay that way"

**** me it's getting grim isn't it? No goals, no tactics, that strip club on Braunstone gate shut down.

It teaches resilience...

If you can put up with the way LCFC is being run now, you'd be able to put up with anything.

It wouldn't make me happy. I obviously have nothing but gratitude for what he's done for the club, but he's pushing 40 and is on £140k a week.

You could probably get four or five quality young Championship players for that wage who could form the foundations for the future.

Me neither, but there’s an element of support that can’t see beyond the end of their noses, and that’s who the club will target. Would not be surprised if we get an announcement before the deadline for renewal! Likewise I’d rather buy 4 or 5 players to rebuild with.

I think those at the club in senior positions believe the club are bigger outside of Leicestershire for starters.
The million Zambians who post about Daka on Facebook will never spend a penny on the club.

KPFC are playing a very dangerous game with this belief they are massive outside of Leicestershire, they won’t dine out on the PL win forever and free beer and donuts will not drag people in.

There’s a lot of long term season ticket holders i know who aren’t bothering next season, they feel their efforts in getting to games home and away are not matched by the players, they no longer want the ‘matchday experience’ or to be fed bullsh1t by the club.

They need to reduce matchday ticket prices, make away games general sale if there’s tickets left after priority, we’ve already seen numerous away allocations reduced as the club continues to alienate fans who can’t or won’t commit to a season ticket or membership.

It's what I always feared they'd do because it's exactly what Forest have done for over 40 years. Dining out on an increasingly distant memory that eventually became little more a pub quiz question.

They even started marketing their ground as the 'wOrLd FamOuS CiTy GroUnD' in a desperate attempt to get folk in for their third successive year of Cheltenham Town at home in League One. Players didn't care, fans didn't care, the opposition didn't care, sponsors didn't care and eventually the media completely forgot. They remained convinced that they were a European giant as more and more of the football world saw them as a bang average medium-sized club.

In truth, they still do. They're now just a plucky underdog enjoying their first good season in three decades. Not the sleeping giant they think they are. We need to rebuild, and quick, before we go the same way. I'm not happy to wait until the early 2050s for our next decent season.

Since my daughter was born, I was desperate to take her for her first football match at Filbert Way to watch her dad's boyhood team.

Her first game will be on Good Friday to watch Boston United v Wealdstone. Kids for a Quid, £17 for me, terracing and no nonsense stuff. I'm confident that it will be a better experience than Leicester City can currently offer, or will be offering, for quite some time.

Sad but true.

It'll be more racist

Funny you say that, I went down to Boston the other day and saw a massive Reform UK poster and the infamous Reform UK taxi with Andrea Jenkyns in the back of it.

Thankfully my daughter is very, very blonde so we should get away without being deported or burned at the stake.

Thats just one block for monday and its  virtually the same all around the ground.

clearly heading for lowest attendance at home in the league this season.

couple this to away allocations being reduced due to demand i think the club should be very very concerned.

It’s £64 a ticket to sit in this section as well

The people in charge won’t think like that though.

It will be a big build up a “look who’s staying for 1 more year” type announcement. And the KPFC happy clappers will lap it up.

Love Vardy - but you’re right.

Another contract and a new range of GOAT 2 merchandise to go with it.

Of course. I'm buzzing for that first 20k crowd next season.

Oxford at home on a piss wet Tuesday night in March. 11th vs 15th.

No to Ruud.  What do you expect Ruud to say?  The clubs owners are a different story imo.  Totally incompetent and probably don't give a fek about fans when there are others waiting to replace them.

You might get an unofficial one this season if you are lucky😂

I expect tomorrow to be our lowest PL attendance probably since this stadium opened.
