thats all they could afford, as I have said they are in deep shit financially wise

It’s absolutely disgusting how far behind Forest we’ve fallen in the last 3 years. I don’t care what we’ve won in the last decade compared to them, it’s shameful what we’ve become.

And it's completely self-inflicted. We were better than them in every department in 22-23, and would have easily stayed up had we replaced Rodgers when everyone  could see he was done.

Taxi for Bilo.

Hard to deny that on the pitch, Forest are absolutely glorious.

Sunderland looking sharp is exciting for the league. There needs to be some jeopardy for the likes of Brentford and West Ham, but Forest will top 10 easily.

you mean Forest are looking good against a team that is one of the favourites to go down?

Forest wont make Europe next season, as I said as soon as they play somoene decent they will struggle, Brentford are making it look easy for them, ill guarantee within a few games some of the older forest players will get a knock

It's bait.

I agree that might have fixed immediate problems but the rot is far, far deeper than Rodgers.

Our recruitment, lack of high quality DoF and blunderbuss approach to managerial selection mean we'd have likely been in very serious decline by now anyway.

Forest are going to be fine this season aren't they?

I reckon there must be about 50 clubs in the football league in a better state than us. How have we got it so badly wrong?!

Course they are. Nuno ain’t a bad manager for a club Forest’s size. Look at when he was at Wolves, two top 7 finishes then mid table before they let him go.

PSR would have ****ed us eventually, yes. The difference is that we'd have stayed up in 2023, probably kept at least one of Maddison, Tielemans or Barnes and either Everton or Cycling Mikey FC have gone down in our stead.

Would we have survived with a 4-6 point deduction the following season? Impossible to say without knowing who we'd have appointed, but I do think we'd be in a better state than we are now.

Wood really is excellent, been scoring consistently for so long now

Think he only had one season where he didn’t hit double figures at Burnley. Well worth at least 10 goals a season.

I suspect that the drop might be quicker at Forest than Wolves because of the Portuguese pipeline he had there. They won't go down, but they'll drop off a bit to bottom half this season. Then it's a case of whether NES stays along with the likes of Gibbs-White (almost certainly off next season,) Aina, Murillo, Milenkovic etc.

They were always gonna drop off from last season. Top 7 was a great season for them considering some people thought they’d go down. Doesn’t take a genius to predict they won’t do that again this season. I think they’ll be fine for top 10 though.

It would have papered over the cracks a bit sure, however it would have been a lot easier to fix our PSR position if we hadn't thrown away premier league money so convincingly

A lot depends on injuries with such a thin squad and how many demands their unearned Europa League place puts on them. A couple of injuries to players like Wood etc and they look a very average side.

The goal was disallowed for being within 1 meter of the Chelsea wall and not the push

By the letter of the law there's no offence once the ball is in play (when Eze kicks it) as the law only applies until the ball is in play.

So what should have happened is; the referee should have instructed the players not to stand in the wall because it’s an offence. The goal should not have been disallowed for that reason.

If he keeps it up, he’ll end up with more PL 30+ goals than Vardy. Legacy will be ruined.
