Didnt watch the game but i see that we took off Aluko and didnt replace him with any other defenders?

 

If that's the case not sure that's the fault of the defenders that we conceded those three at the end there, more the manager for leaving us short at the back.

Also Amani Richards has been putting up numbers lately, didnt have a good loan but he looks to have kicked on recently, just needs to sort out his decision making. If he can get a league 2 loan in January that would be ideal.

He’s a confusing one because I remember Exeter fans liking him at the start of his loan there, got injured and has then sort of faded away

The last 3-4 games he has or a fairly lengthy stoppage in game to be treated for a whack.

Him and Page do seem to be prone to getting hacked down by opposition out of frustration at this level.

A week ago someone on here pointed out that our youth teams have developed the habit of letting in goals towards the end of games, and it's happened again last night.  I wonder why that is.

Often a sign they are too good for that level now, same thing happened to Alves in that U18 cup match which he had no need to be playing in

We've also proven that we tend to only keep them in the 1st team squad until they sign a pro deal, bar Monga. I don't blame him to keep his options open.

Its not unusual for players to dip in and out of u21s football and Mens football, and as has been mentioned millions of times now; unless the big expensive players go they won't have a sure spot in the team.
