Interested to see what next steps are for all those that have extended.

Imagine Stolarczyk, Monga and Braybrooke will all be involved with the first team next season.

Bausor as 3rd choice GK?

League one loans for Cartwright, Aluko, Cover and Thomas?

Wonderful news, especially on Monga!

Curious that Jakub's has been extended by a year. Would have thought he would get a new multi-year contract, but perhaps the club are...learning?!

I think Braybrooke would be better served going on loan and playing 40 games.

Does Monga signing this really change things though? Am I wrong in saying that if he explodes in the Championship next season then he could still walk for relatively nothing?

Was wondering this too.

I'm guessing a much higher tribunal fee, if it even goes to tribunals still?

Apparently the deal has a professional clause that will kick in when he turns 17 next July

I can't help but wonder if this is out of necessity and we won't see much in the way of incoming as well as notable players leaving so the likes of Silko Thomas, Aluko. Cartright, Monga, Evans, Cover, Braybrooke are going to be massively relied on this season.

Just go clarify what that means on practice, it essentially means he's treated as though he already has that professional deal so anybody who wants him now, will have to sign him in the way that they would with any pro player (i.e. offering us a few that we deem acceptable).

I do wonder whether he has got a very low release clause in there or the pro deal is only a couple of years. But that's something to whinge about another day!

Yeah I get that but surely that can't kick in until he's 17 otherwise what would be the point of the rule?

Man City or anyone else cannot get him to sign a pro deal until he turns 17 either, at which point the clause will kick in anyway

I could have sworn Braybrooke made his debut about 3 years ago in the cup?

Yeah he did vs Newport. 2022.
