It’s obvious that Chelsea, Arsenal & 2 x Manchester ladies clubs are so much better than the rest and actually look like football players but the constant bias over them during games and the way they are talked about will ruin what they are trying to a archive in growing the woman’s game.

They have the platform to big up other teams, talk about career paths etc etc to encourage new players, fans & investment etc etc but they are so derogatory towards any club outside those 4 (maybe now add in LCL as the new darlings) they risk damaging its growth and just make a carbon copy of the men’s game.

Passmoor does seem to have got them well organised and working hard.  I suspect they'll run out of steam with all the effort they're putting in, but a creditable performance so far.

 

I wonder if Passmoor will be made permanent after yesterday's sad news.

I agree.

I also did wonder the same thing regarding Passmoor, but with the reasons he left West Ham in the first place, is it a case that he may not want to commit to being a permanent manager, may not want the pressure.

I think he just wanted to be nearer his family and Leicester suits him in that regard.

awful news about Matt Beard, I wonder where that leaves the women's team pretty much an open secret he was the next manager

I am glad with how we've played, I'd like to see us go a bit more attacking now.

I can't see us getting a goal as it is, so might as well go for it, at least a little bit more.

We need to approach teams at our level 😏like this.

genuinely hate the arrogance around Chelsea. Like we've defended really well but no it's "oh they're taking it easy to win the CL". Can't wait for them to lose in the semi final as usual.

I Like Asmita but it'd be much better if she was playing RWB and we had a left footer on her side, we need to find one

Really not been impressed with Tierney, she's had moments of doing decent things, but she is just so slow and shy of getting stuck in.

Reminds me a little bit of soumare (maybe an unpopular opinion).

 

Let's see if Ayanne can support Hlin a bit.

Not interfering with play on the initial shot so should have been a corner to us.

You have to put that away and make the ref make the decision though. With the level of inconsistency, may have been given.

yeah she should have finished it but it wouldn't have counted

A good performance shame about the ref but if they can repeat that against some of the weaker teams I’m optimistic they can have decent season

Shame about that early goal, was a cheap one to give away. Deserved a draw out of that.

You might have even argued that without that goal, we might even have a slight argument to be the better team.

On to LCL mid-week (hopefully a 2nd string squad) and the Tottenham next weekend.
