Options up top bud, Goodwin, Rantala, O’Brien, Cain, Ayane, Nelly, Kaczmar, then there’s Mouchon and Hlin…

All of those are wingers aside from Mouchon, Hlin and Kaczmar. And some of those might be able to fill in, but you couldn't rely on them.

Draper you could include in there as well, but we won't know how much her injury has taken away from her.

If we lost Mouchon it leaves us with Hlin as our main striker and then a still very young youth product as back up.

It doesn't make sense to let her go, unless, like I say, they've downed tools.

I am not hugely fussed about loosing chossenotte. I'm surprised, probably mainly because I didnt even know transfers are still open for some foreign leagues.

I also didn’t really think that badly to her either, no better or worse than what we already had in the grand scheme.

Everton home game kick-off time has been moved to 11:55.

Still can't see the logic in moving these games to lunch!

60000 sell out 😳😳😳😳😳

The idea is to create a buzz around a bunch of games at the same time in a Soccer Saturday style around-the-grounds kind of way.

It doesn’t work as there will only be three or four games at a time, usually missing at least two of the top teams as they will be in live games on Friday nights or later on Sunday.  It also means kids who play on Sunday mornings will have to choose between playing or going to a game.  And people like me who like to watch every game can no longer do so.

It’s badly thought out nonsense.  The women’s game has always suffered from this rubbish.

This is the biggest issue that really stops womens football from growing. Should never be that the next generation of players can't watch the current generation play.

The people behind the WSL are dim as anything. Scheduling all of your games so it directly clashes against a lot of junior football and in particular girls is mad

Isn’t mostly dictated by tv presumably for the money

It is but the WSL will have pre discussed the slots before handing over the contract

Sure but the tv mob hold all the cards and the men’s football. I doubt there’s much scope for negotiating

Interesting injury update on Mouchon in an article just posted by the club in preparations for Sunday, this quote is from Passmore “She is unavailable at the moment. It’s just left with the medical team until she is fully available for selection. We’re making sure that she’ll be fit and ready to play when that opportunity arises.”

That last line indicates to me that it's not really an injury, but maybe a choice and we're just keeping her training for if she then decides to play? Could be reading too much into it though.

Draper has a knock on her knee and Goodwin still in the physio room, but dont think there's any indication of what her injury is, maybe covered previously.

Draper’s injury spell is worse than anyone at the club, she’s been injured now for about 14 months.

Its really worrying for such a young player to really struggle to be match fit for such a long time.

As usual there’s hardly any update on her progress, and pretty much all of the women’s injuries are shrouded in secrecy.

Yes, and sorry you do have to take things with a pinch of salt.

But to be seemingly nowhere near touching a football pitch in over a year makes you worry even if she can return. Which is horrid considering her age.

No-one watching the Liverpool match then?

Where can you watch it? 👍

this system is terrible, move Thibaud or Kees to RB and push Cayman up into an attacking area, stop playing like cowards, this team has always been better when they are aggressive they are so passive right now.

Also just thinking about it, do we have a single left footed player in the squad?

I feel every time I watch the women’s team, they do so well and hold out for so long… then let a couple of goals in when they just can’t hold on any longer…

Hopefully be different today.
