Shame about that early goal, was a cheap one to give away. Deserved a draw out of that.

You might have even argued that without that goal, we might even have a slight argument to be the better team.

On to LCL mid-week (hopefully a 2nd string squad) and the Tottenham next weekend.

Isn’t it Ipswich mid week?

Much better organised and fitness levels look good now. I’d personally put Janice in the middle instead of Tierney, switch Ale to the right and bring O’Brien onto the left.

Agree. Tierney has been a great servant to the club and still has plenty to offer, I just don't think she has the quality and workrate to be a regular starter now.

BBC highlights didn't have any coverage of the Bright potential red incident.

What did she do?

Studs up challenge into the side of someone's calf. I think it was Tierney.

Wasn’t even booked for it, yet Van Egmond did a similar challenge and got a yellow, and the commentators were talking up a red for her.

Some of these current and former Lionesses have some lousy attitudes, Rachel Daly by far the worst the way she speaks to her managers and the officials. Honestly think certain referees are intimidated by them.

Sheffield United have completed the signing of Leicester City goalkeeper Katie Keane on an emergency loan deal.
The Blades announced the news via a post on their official club website afternoon.

The 19-year-old will spend the next week with Sheffield United.

The South Yorkshire club have made the move for the youngster with their goalkeeping department having been severely impacted by injuries. Number one keeper Sian Rogers is still recovering from injury while Charlotte Parker-Smith is also sidelined with a knock.

Keane joined Leicester City last month following a short spell with SSE Airtricity League Women’s Premier Division club Shamrock Rovers. She penned a three-year deal with The Foxes and is very much seen as one for the future.

On the international stage, Keane is yet to break into The Republic of Ireland’s senior side, however, she has played an important role in the Under-19 team. She recently represented her country at the UEFA Women’s Under-19 Championship.

It has been reported that Keane is available to feature for Sheffield United in their Subway Women’s League Cup group stage match against Durham at Maiden Castle this evening. The two clubs begin their involvement in this season’s competition up in the North East.

Anyone know of if or where the game may be streamed/televised tonight?

Can't seem to find anywhere that says, so assuming it's probably not.

Not found anywhere either, Liverpool v Sunderland appears to be the only live game

I hope highlights get released, be interesting to see the goals.

Great to see Rantala get a full game too.

I’ll post them as soon as they are uploaded
