Lots of possession second half but not tested Kop at all. Eat my words on Tierney today, probably the best player out there, much improved.

Crowds are struggling with these midday kick offs. Looked less than 1500 there today.

I thought the same thing about the crowds. We couldn't be there today, so watched it on youtube and it was really sparce

Be so much better if they could have their own ground, say a 5000 capacity, like the old Hinckley ground, its must be soul destroying playing in front of crowds of 2000 in a 32,000 capacity stadium.

I think when we get to 3PM kick offs, the crowds will go up, when Arsenal come, that will draw a 5,-6,000

It’s also a big ask for away fans to travel at least 100 miles (exception Villa) on a Sunday morning for a midday kick off, I had it a few times last season and it wrote me off for Monday’s!

1820 v Liverpool, well under that today.

The Hinckley ground would be the perfect solution if you ask me, the club that use it are really struggling financially, I wonder how they would feel about buying the stadium off them, but still allow them to play there.

It would need some investment putting into it, as it's not been looked after very well, there's businesses that also inhabit parts of the ground and the "car park" isn't great.

They would loose out on a fair bit of retail as well from match day visitors.

It will never happen, but a stadium like that would be perfect.

Wouldn't surprise me if it was >1000 today. Whilst I dont blame the club on one hand, they also haven't helped themselves by a total lack of proper marketing and promoting.

I think the 12 PM kickoffs are the reason fewer people are going, definitely less than Liverpool. Spurs were the better side today, sharper in the tackle, and passing was better.

I know we have many fans who attend the first team from places like Oakham and Melton Mowbray and the first train into Leicester on a Sunday from those places is after 12pm. It just isn't a good time for attending football generally.

I know we lost, but this is a big improvement over last season, with a downgraded squad.  We actually had some bite and spent a lot of time in the opponents half.

I didn’t see the first half due to work, I think once he gets Rantala starting we will see a difference. Shannon has had an indifferent start to the season, Cain looks sharp, I’m afraid my opinion on Hlin is still the same she’s a poor signing. Mouchon looked lively.

As many know in this thread I never rated Miquel, too much sideline coaching and none of it getting through, Soph Howard said it was unorthodox and sometimes difficult to grasp with Miquels no 2 not speaking English.

I think he’s done well so far given he was at very short notice and also the tragic news of Matt Beard passing now sees him favourite for the job, the certainly need stability. I just hope he uses Nelly Las as that girl is lively and tenacious, strangely could be the answer up top.

I really struggle to see where Missy Goodwin fits in in this system of 3412, she's definitely not a wing back and not a good enough finisher to play as a striker, can she play as a 10?

Never seen her tried as a 10, doesn’t strike me as a creative player to unlock a defence and can’t strike a ball with much venom, her goal at Liverpool a couple of years back was a beauty but agree, I don’t see where she fits in.

Some really good points raised here.

I really do think the biggest issue is these 12 kick-offs, I'll be extremely disappointed if the league doesn't change this when the next batch of TV fixtures is released, but I guess SkySports hold the cards on it really and you know they don't care about attendances.

Be interesting to know how other fan bases feel about it, as it has to be effecting them too.

Ah and would you look at that... about an hour after the above the televised picks are released for weeks 7 & 8... More 12:00 kick offs...

I dare say the money from Sky is more than the income from gate receipts for most clubs, think this will become the norm sadly.

Unfortunately, at this point my kids favourite soft play area will have a higher gate receipt than the women are currently pulling in.

They gave the gate as 1404 v Tottenham which I think must have included players, staff, officials, stewards, and catering. There was never 1400 in the ground! I think they are counting season ticket holders regardless of whether they show up or not.

That has to be the case. It's likely only going to get worse too, aside from when we play the likes of man city, arsenal and man u, and the away fans outnumber the home fans.
