Not a bad result really. Could and should have got something out of it, didn't take our chances.

Didn't play too badly and looked more dangerous with Mouchon in the pitch.

Still lacking creativity.

Mayling played well, could have got a shot away on the break, but she was the most dynamic player on the pitch.

7 goals scored in 12 league games is horrific

How are you going to grow the club when you produce such a dull experience.

Hope we are not just playing games to lose most by the least amount of goals as possible.

Sounds like a formula for mediocre safety for a successful season in the WSL

Mouchon needs to be starting games, she looks a real threat

I imagine they would be starting her if she was fit enough, by far our best attacker.

Hopefully next weekend, fingers crossed.

Simone Sherwood loaned out to Sheffield United

Hopefully can pick up some valuable minutes and break into the first team from next season. Similar build, ect... as Van Egmont

Could do with more incoming players especially a striker asap

Williams is basically all but done from what I've heard. Still feel we need a bit more quality in the centre of midfield mind. Much as Tierney has been fantastic for us, if we want to progress above perpetual relegation battles she can't be the first name on the teamsheet

Have heard Nelly Las not part of the plans this season, expecting her to be loaned.

It's a shame, but if it means she gets minutes, then it's for the best.

Agreed in terms of Tierney, she's been a great servant to the club, but she's an average player at best.

Not really physical enough to be defensive, and isn't creative enough to be attacking.

She wouldn't be the first player on the team sheet I would replace, but we do need to improve.

Leicester City sign Manchester United’s veteran forward Williams
By Daniel Pentland / January 15, 2026
Leicester City have completed the signing of Manchester United’s veteran forward Rachel Williams on an 18-month deal.
WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Foxes this evening.

The 38-year-old forward returns to the club where she started out in her youth 26 years ago. Williams broke into the first team at Leicester City and she is now set to begin her third spell with her hometown club.

Williams has a wealth of experience at Barclays Women’s Super League level. She has played in England’s top tier for 15 years in spells with Birmingham City, Chelsea, Notts County, Birmingham City, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United.

It's great to have an alternative forward to Mouchon, particularly if she may be injury prone.

I've gone on about me thinking that Eiriksdottir may be a bit underrated, but she has seemed to be more effective on the wing from what we've seen of her there.

Also looks like Emilia Pelgander has signed for a Danish side.

I just happened to stumble upon it.

No indication as to whether it is permanent or loan, but at this point I'd imagine she hasn't got long left on her contract now anyway.

She looked good with the minimal minutes she did have in a Leicester shirt, but I respect the. doing what the mens team have been incapable of doing in getting fees for players going out of contract.

Confirmed on the website now that it's a loan. Probably not to be seen again I'd imagine, dare bet she's out of contract in the summer.

Also, Tierney confirmed as captain with Neville as vice captain- sensible decision.

I mean it won't hurt attendances... She's very popular.

But I don't rate her that much, every time I've seen her play she's never impressed me. Saying that, she would be an upgrade on Ayanne at very least.

Not sure she’s a good fit, instagram celebrity, not a great player, never seen her have a good game, links with Billiard though at Villa.

I can imagine she is going to demand some pretty big wages too.

We don't want to copy the same problem the men's team have had for a few seasons now, so need to be wary.

If it's not a financial risk and she's committed, then bring her in.

She's not of great quality, but she will bring a lot exposure and still a slight improvement on some of our current players.

15.9m followers on Instagram, even if she is a social media celebrity, that brings a lot of eyes. Even the men's teams Instagram has only 7.7m.

We want to build up the fan base to take us onto better things, it’s one way to do it.
