Indeed he was brushed off too easily surprised he wasn’t pulled earlier when subs were made early days but bit disappointed - both with the system he’s playing in and his performance as a whole

He's good on the ball, but that doesn't matter if you don't have it.
coolhandfox Posted 6 September 2025 Posted 6 September 2025 Nice play than by Braybrooke, beat the pressure an spread a nice ball wide.

brookfox Posted 6 September 2025 Posted 6 September 2025 Just used a VPN to get onto FanHub. Don’t bother, just pics of middle aged men eating sausage rolls on the train as they travel to away games.
davieG Posted 6 September 2025 Posted 6 September 2025 Long 4 months for Sammy Opoku could fit in better
moore_94 Posted 6 September 2025 Author Posted 6 September 2025 (edited) Good to see him get some proper minutes and get stuck in defensively I just hope they change their tactics just a little a bit as otherwise he won’t get on the ball much Wouldn’t be surprised if this managed gets sacked soon though, 6 defeats in a row Edited 6 September 2025 by moore_94 1

moore_94 Posted 6 September 2025 Author Posted 6 September 2025 Opoku to smash it until January and then get a loan to league one 1

Popular Post Noahfence Posted 6 September 2025 Popular Post Posted 6 September 2025 Goal and Assist for Opoku. Could just be Rovers getting complacent as they were 3-0 up but Newport have looked way more of a threat with Opoku up front. 5

coolhandfox Posted 6 September 2025 Posted 6 September 2025 Thought Sammy did well when he was on the ball, some nice touches, worried that he struggles in this system and style. Probably would suit Opoku better.

He’s not a kid learning the trade. Should be the best player in that division. Nobody else from league 2 could look competent in the top Belgian league
