We had a ton of players (alot were not needed) its been a positive window surely because we have offloaded them, for some we actually got money for including at least one who was in his last year of contract and thus would have gone on a free in 12 months.

Making a good start on the rebuild. Agree with the outgoings. 

Pleased enough with the two midfield loans especially JJ think he strengthens the starting 11 potentially and good to have Ramsey as an option if we can keep him fit. 

Both make good financial sense. 

 

Really not sure about the striker though. 4 goals in the Dutch league hardy screams new starting striker. Just seems very random and rolling the dice. Has a Tete type flop scenario written all over it but really hope to be wrong. 

 

Given the circumstances a satisfactory window.

Pleased with the outs. Would have liked to ship out Kristiansen and a couple of others ideally. 
 

Pleased with the two midfield signings.

 

I’m still worried about the strikers. Don’t know much about Carranza so I’ll reserve judgement. But I feel we still need a proper target man and would have really liked us to go all out for Ivanovic.  
 

That said, the main priority this summer was to get us on a more stable financial footing which does look to have been achieved.

CAM for sure, but if Page continues to improves and stays fit we MIGHT get away with it.. Isnt Aluko who looked decent (but maybe not ready) a FB ?

With exception of the striker position, I think Marti has a squad that should be able to compete at the top end of the table. What do I like ? The two midfielders are young and hungry which ties in well with guys we have here. Good to see a fair few leave. Disappointed to still have Faes/Vestegaard here but they’ll have a role. 
 

Important to get Winks back on side, yes he is a mardy ass. But he is very good at this level. Stephy needs to play himself into form. Good keeper. Good defenders. Decent full backs. Good/Decent midfield. Ok strikers. 
 

The best match winner in the division in Abdul. Monga at 16 has serious match winning qualities too.
