Anish Posted 26 December 2005 Share Posted 26 December 2005 Millwall's Marvin Williams - 8 - as an impact sub, i thought he was brilliant I don't know his name but the black player that came on for Millwall (number 32 or so) who played right wing for them, was pretty useful. Ripped Kisnorbo to pieces time and time again in the latter stages of the second half. Douglas 3 - pathetic. Maybury 5 McCarthy 6.5 Gerrbrand 6 Johansson 4.5 Smith 6.5 Gudjonsson 6 Kisnorbo 4 Tiatto 3 Hume 5.5 Hammond 5.5 Subs: Williams 7* excellent

Lichfieldfox. Posted 26 December 2005 Share Posted 26 December 2005 Douglas 4 awful in the air Maybury 5 McCarthy 6 If wasn't for og worth a 7 Gerrbrand 5.5 Johansson 2 Awful first half rightly subbed, out of position Smith 7 missed swith with Sylla Gudjonsson 6 poor first half Kisnorbo 4 Waste of space in midfield, better second half Tiatto 2 (should also been subbed at break, headless chicken get rid) Hammond 5 Clueless running in on goal, either falls over or does backpass Hume7 Some clever touches little service Subs Williams 7.5 Best player on pitch, must start vs Reading Hughes N/A (wasn't on for long enough) DeVries N/A (as above) Referee 4 generally poor game

Manwell Pablo Posted 26 December 2005 Share Posted 26 December 2005 Douglas 3 - Spillage. Maybury 5 - Inactive Mcarthy 5.5 - Blunder Gerrbrand 5 - Bizzare Johanson 3 - Abscent. Smith 5 - Quiet. Gujohnson 6 - Lapses Kisnorbo 4 - Pathetic Tiatto 3 - Disgrace Hammond 5.5 - Aimless Hume - 6 Goalless Williams - 7.5 Only player worth more then 3 seconds of my time. Should get a chance in the starting line up after 2 good performances off the bench. I would be alot more happy if I thought him upping his game didnt have anything to do with Stuart Pearce. Cobbo Posted 26 December 2005 Share Posted 26 December 2005 Douglas - 6 - shite in the first half but the saves near the end looked cracking from where I was. Maybury - 6 - Average game. Gerrbrand - 6 - Not as good as he has been, some bad passes and lost out in the air a fair bit. Generally solid though. McCarthy - 6 - Lovely finish, other than that average. Johansson - 5 - Ball distribution was piss poor, apart from one cross field ball to Smith that rocked. Smith - 7 - Positive as ever, not as much success as in prior games, but good all the same. Kisnorbo - 6 - Average in midfield, decent at the back...when defending and not trying to come forward. Strength in the air is key as only him and Paddy can head the bloody thing. Gudjonsson - 6 - poor on recent standards, sure he'll be back. Took his penalty well as ever (is he the best peno taker we've had? he's so cool with them) Tiatto - 2 - Wasn't great before he got sent off (the fact we played so much better after he was was no coincidence) and the way he got sent off was bloody idiotic. Hume - 6 - Positive running as ever, but little reward today. Hammond - 8 - Ran himself into the ground, got man handled all over the place (dunno how many foulds were commited on him, but it was a lot) did well when running at defenders and won us the penalty we needed to score. Unlucky not to score himself when their guy was sent off. Superb display I thought. Subs: Williams - 7 - Seems to be wanting it a bit more now, passing and runs forward helped a lot, shot hitting the post was so unlucky. Hughes - NA de Vries - NA
Bert Posted 27 December 2005 Share Posted 27 December 2005 Douglas - 5 sort yourself out Maybury - 6 Average Nils - 4 very poor, lacked more or less everything. Gerrbrand - 6 performances have dropped McCarthy - 6 unluvky with the OG, ok otherwise Tiatto - 3 you'd already been booked you plonker Smith - 7 not his best but still very good Kisnorbo - 5 worked hard thats it. Joey - 6 wasn't one of his best, a well taken penalty though. Hume - 7 worked hard, gave 110% just not his day Hammond - 8 MOTM worked hard ran himself into the ground, won the penalty got there bloke sent off Williams - 7 Flashes of excellence got stuck, a big influence when he came on Other 2 N/A

TrickyTrev Posted 27 December 2005 Share Posted 27 December 2005 Douglas 8 He had a good game, it is hardly his fault he got pushed into the goal. Made soem cracking saves in the second half and why the fans were booing him I don't know?! Maybury 7 He was one of the better players in the first half, trying to get forward and add an extra option. Good to see eh is back to playing like he was last season. McCarthy 5 The own goal wasn't unlucky it was really awful defending. Gerrbrand 5 Not at the races. Johanson 5 Lost a bit of weight? He was too slow for the goal and is evidently out of position at left back. Smith 7 He was responsible for everyhting good we produced in the first half, which is not much, but is being double marked at every opportunity. Joey 6 Poorer than recent weeks, but he took the goal well Kisnorbo 5 I feel sorry for him because he was not given that many options but I feel him being in the centre limits the teasm passing ability. Him and Joey have good balance but their joint lack of passing ability is responible for our lack of penetration. Tiatto 5 Unlucky to be sent off, was as shite as everyone else in the first half. Hammond 7 His pace emans that he is always a threat and that we look like socring a goal even when we are playing pretty poorly. I can see potential but still very raw. Hume 7 He has a lot of ability and is one of thos eplayers that must play in every match. Williams 7 Made a big difference in the second half and should now be given the chance to claima regular place in the first team.
Nationwider Posted 28 December 2005 Share Posted 28 December 2005 Douglas 7 Still goofing about as usual, but at least he made a couple of vital saves Maybury 6 Steady McCarthy 6 Usual mixture of no-nonsense defending and rash decisions Gerrbrand 6 Looked a bit shaky at times Johansson 4 Nice pass into touch with blue shirt 5 yards away in 1st half Smith 7 Best player on the pitch, as usual Joey 5 Had an off day. Kisnorbo 5 Involved a lot, but rarely in anything creative Tiatto 3 Hammond 6 Gave 110% chasing lost causes. Never looked like scoring Hume 6 Desperately needs a good centre-forward to play off of Williams 6 Showed signs of life
