Why can't you judge the incident on its own merits? It was a silly choice by a player who has made plenty of differing decisions during this match.   :dunno:

I am. the incident occurs specifically because of the tactics and so that has to be considered as well. And to be clear, I don't think this is specifically Martis tactic, it's something we've been doing for a couple of years because someone right up the club structure has an outsized influence on tactics because that someone is obsessed with Man City and thinks we can do that too, but the facts remain that this style of goal kick is a tactical choice and so that has to shoulder the blame as much, if not more, than any of the individuals involved. If it was an individual error you could prevent it with different individuals, that we conceded at least 3 like that last time in this division with a different keeper shows that's not the case. Passes out like that invite problems like this one, and they form part of our tactics

I thought we hadn’t seen Thomas attempt the rock bottom on a player this game.

You are a proper well of despair, aren't you

So a sort of entrenched behaviour within the team after many regimes where this was the ask, can see this, but this also takes time to undo I suppose. I think yes, it is something we prefer or are used to doing as a team, and I admit it can work and it can have benefits, but the risk is plain to see.

I understand it was a mistake but the guy is spunking like we are about to lose the game.........

Because we definitely haven't thrown leads away this season...it was a fairly normal reaction considering the circumstance. Glad we could see it out!

No, he’s a crap defender. He can’t shoulder barge a player or tackle so he always grabs them, the cards stack up which might be a good thing.  Keep at it Luke. Credit where it’s due like the Derby game.

Big performance today please. Let's turn one good half into two and put some of our fears to bed.

Evans off the bench to grab the goal that sinks Ipswich's hopes for good.

3-1 win.

Yes I'm an eternal optimist.

Excuse me. Would you happen to have tonight’s lottery numbers?

I wasn't bang on with Evans though.

Reminds me of when I predicted a 3-2 comeback win against Spurs before the game. Only I predicted a Dion Dublin winner and it was Mark De Vries
