A forum favour - my sons band

Hi All, 

My son (and lifelong LCFC fan) has been into music for many years now…. And whilst his father has excellent music taste I, sadly, possess none of his music making abilities!

He’s been in a band for many years now with school friends he’s had since the age of 6! He’s 23 now and they’re all recently graduated and are giving the band a go. They’ve had a single done and are planning another. They used Joel Patchett to produce it (Jane Weaver/ A certain Ratio / Orielles) and it’s now out on Apple Music and Spotify 

They’re gigging a lot. Sheffield is the next one and they’re also gig in Leicester and London semi regularly and have the promise of an A&R man to come and see them in London…. They’ve have had crowds ranging ranging from the sound man only to 200+

I’d describe them as being inspired by The Cure / echo and the bunnymen…. Quite moody…. Their USP is a singing drummer (Isaac) with Theo (my son) on guitar and Marrick on bass

I think they’re ace, but I’m biased! Many mates of mine have been super surprised as they might have been expecting bedroom rock only to be quite pleasantly surprised… They had a recent single launch party at the classroom on Rutland street with a fantastic (at cap) turnout…

So, the favour, please download their track (you don’t have to like them!). And if you feel so inclined it’d be great if you could share with your network…. It all helps with the all important algorithms!

Get them to submit their music to -[email protected]

 

Get them on FC/Fifa so many upcoming bands do it.

The club play music from local artists before the game and at half time. Might be worth submitting it to them. Don't know the link, sorry.

If I remember rightly, you and Steve found my missing Cat not long after I moved in a couple years ago!

I haven't been for a couple of months now but earlier in the season I saw the club put on the big screens that they were looking for local musicians to have their music played at the KP. Worth getting in touch with them to have their music played to 20-25k people.
