He was injured for must of our campaign.

surely we hold all the cards, IF we don't have to sell with Monga money being pure profit and maybe sell WInks and Faes (we can hope) for some fee and some others, our hand may not be forced.. or certainly hold out for 17-20 million

There would be plausability for us holding the cards, but I cant see him being here come the start of the season, he will have told his agent the night we were relegated to start planning for a summer move, he wont be short of suitors either, its just whether we can get what we want for him. 

 

Turkey could very well be a lure for him, warm weather, plus the money he could earn out there, I'm sure he has been in touch with Ndidi as well to get some idea of what it is like there

 

I wish him well, I genuinely do, i have said on a previous post that he is a victim of his surroundings

Got to be honest if I was Everton, Leeds, Brighton, Fulham, Bournemouth, Brentford and any of the newly promoted sides I would be all over signing Abdul for £15m + would be a relatively low risk signing with lots of upside potential.

At most it'll be like El Khannous where he potentially plays 1 or 2 games for us and then leaves towards the end the window

Mahrez was god like....what he helped us achieve was legendary.....this lad isn't fit to clean Riyads boots.... couldn't care less if he leaves.....Mahrez....I was gutted.....night and day

Not comparing him to Mahrez. I'm just saying it'll end up with him requesting to leave and end up waiting at a Paris airport for a destination. 

 

Mahrez got nicknamed Viktor Navorski and can see Fatawu doing something similar

I really hope that isn’t the case. Clearly he wants to leave (and who can blame him), but I don’t want anyone playing for us who doesn’t want to be here, it’s counterproductive for both sides. I remember El Khannous being hauled off at half time early last season because he was just strolling around, going through the motions. 
 

We’ve had enough of this sort of thing in the last few years and it needs to stop, regardless of how good a player is.
