Away tickets general sale

Saw on Facebook someone purchased a ticket for Middlesbrough after being told by LCFC no general sale ticket, but he went to the game anyway by buying a ticket from the away ticket office at the Riverside. This is something the club needs to sort out and allow general sale at out ticket office but they are desperate for membership money.

In my experience some of our best fans are pay on the day through General Sale.

TBH most owners in england don't want them, thats why we have the placid quiet stadiums.  Some see colour, noise passion in the crowds as a positive thing, we don't.

Away ticket scheme as appeared to be unfair over the years, a midweek Middlesbrough away is never going to sell out in a million years.

There was loads of tickets for thd fans who say the away scheme is unfair. 

Leave it as it us and include general.sale.

Ipswich went on Gen Sale (booking history).

 

Wonder if new commercial director is looking for some quick wins to make money/get fans on side.

 

Watford sold out before it had a chance but it'll be interesting to see if they repeat it for any of the other remaining fixtures

Do we know that for certain?    It was never publicised on the ticket site, so I'm not sure how anyone would've known (unless they Emailed or texted everyone separately).

And the ticket sales barely increased at all over the last few days - which implied to me, that it wasn't widely known about, even if true?

Not saying they publicised it. But it definitely happened as i'm not a member this year but have a health booking history and I could book.

I saw it on social media. Booked it on the Friday and picked ticket up at the ground.

Fair enough.  That sounds like the Club, mind.  Mention it on social media, but don't bother updating the main ticket website - where most people might check.

 

They only sold about 40 tickets in the 3 days from the Tuesday lunchtime to the Friday, when they went off sale.
