Hard to say, does King Power use it for tax purposes I wonder. Typically when they have hosted games away from King Power such as cup matches at Burton or Notts County, crowds are down to 200/250. I’d expect 400/500 max at Seagrave which I think is capacity? If they were to go back up, they would need to move back but it’s a viable option for WSL2

I think capacity at Seagrave is 500 as that's what they made available for Northampton.

They had 519 watch them lose to Palace in the league cup last season.

With popular players on their way out (more to leave soon) the costs associated with playiing at the stadium, the lack of Lioness opposition which is always a big crowd puller to see Russo, Toone etc and the expected lower numbers in both home and away support, I think Seagrave would be the perfect fit.

Pretty sure the minimum allowed capacity for a stadium is somewhere north of 1000, way more than seagrave anyway, cup games would be allowed I'd have thought though

Genuinely don't understand the use of King Power going forward, unless as above it's for other reasons. They must have lost money week in week out last season with the low crowd numbers. And totally agree that there really isn't going to be any more appetite to watch them play WSL2 sides, with no 'star' players. I can't imagine it's great for the players too playing in a big stadium that's 5% full with no atmosphere whatsoever.

Seagrave would be the more cost effective option, but then i guess public transport to there is non-existent unless they provided a shuttle bus from city centre or king power.

Does anyone know if kick-off times are staying the same this season? As that had a massive impact on numbers with clash with grassroots Sunday football.

Last season WSL2 kick-offs were generally 2pm on Sundays, but there was a bit of variety.  The games were only on YouTube so there was no broadcaster dictating noon kick-offs.

You are right, I forgot about this, it’s a minimum 1500 for WSL2 so Seagrave would be a non starter.

The bus is exactly what they need to do, me and someone else mentioned earlier in the thread that the womens games need to be managed like the old FNF games.

At this point I would do the following.

Much lower capacity stadium so fans are not just stuck in one corner with rest empty.

Free to all season ticket holders, and one free game for anyone who has paid for a matchday ticket.

Those who do pay charge no more than a fiver.

Transport provided from multiple locations to provide accessibility.

Priority points for away mens games for attending womens matches.

All children free,

Prize draw for attendees free tour of Seagrave.  Free football shirts etc.

The way it was managed last season and prior seasons is just wild, its as if they thought all they had to do was use KP stadium and it would just be a success with no effort.

Hannah Cain signs for Everton. Their fans must be feeling the same as we do when we sign yet another Southampton player.

They seem to sign all of our players... I'm not sure if that's the best strategy on their part.

So Cain gone and rumours of Rantala going soon too. Should be a good opportunity for some of the academy girls to step up, but it seems some of the most promising are off to the US on scholarships

Why have we had successive managers leave when they have kept the women's side in top division, but choosing to keep this manager after a season just as horrific as the mens.

I know 2 of the last 4 or 5 managers have had controversies, but why was the french lady (can remember name) sacked? She was building.

There’s another one gone in the next 24 hours. Plenty of room for academy players or whatever rubbish Passmoor brings in.

Given how keen Everton have been maybe most of the squad will be back in the WSL, despite how poor we've been.  I'm sure Mcloughlin, O'Brien and Ale will get decent moves.

Keeping Passmore must be the cheap option. We cannot afford to bring anyone else in.

There were 3 ‘controversies ‘ out of the last 5. But of the last 2 managers the French woman was Amandine Miquel, failed to get an away win all season but had a decimated team with injury impacting.

Matt Beard (RIP) was due to take her job, with Passmoor assisting.

Morgan, kirk, who's the 3rd controversy? Wasn't aware of another
