Given 3 year contract to convince him to join, by the end of which we'll be desperate for him to leave. Tick.

 

Offering 3 year contracts to players over 30 with a recent bad injury is frankly horrific business. It's why he's coming to us in L1 rather than joining some no mark bottom half Championship club.

 

We will never learn.

Alves I feel now reflecting might be off on loan or was forewarned about all these attacking players coming in. 

 

 

If Alves can't get a game with us in L1, he'd be better off looking for a move away.
