It’s a start. Hopefully they’ll also eventually learn to open more than just the worst 2 blocks every game, but I doubt it.

I'm priority 1 but very rarely purchase on first day of sale especially for the big allocations because like you say they are usually the worst as at MKDons & Barnsley.

Have they got a 5 year old in the ticket IT dept now, I’ve just read an email today from them saying,

”our first points drop lands at 2pm today”, what are they trying to achieve writing that crap.

 

Just say ,”on sale from 2pm today”.

 

Nothing has dropped and nothing has landed.

Coaches seem to be leaving at silly times considering it’s 1hr 30 away. There doesn’t seem to be much in the vicinity of the ground, or am I wrong?

Yeah not loads around Oakwell. There is a social club near the main carpark end which is mixed.

Barnsley town centre is fifteen minutes walk away. Not that there’s particularly lot on offer

It's less than a mile away from the town centre if I remember. The best thing about the coaches is they get in early so you can walk in and see the town, have a few beers and take pictures of all the pound shops

Every time I've been to Oakwell it's down to the chip shop for food then back to the Metrodome for a pint, bizarrely.

Stupid question I guess, but why in the first block are the end seats all the way up blanked out, doesn’t look like normal sold seats if that makes sense

Now maybe I’m being naive but why would you close for maintenance in middle of a ticket sale? You would think the ticket office staff are on work experience
