What exactly is this proving/showing? The fact that the striker we're rumoured to be signing missed a penalty?

Also shows the determination to win the penalty. Just adding a little bit of information into the discussion. Some might find it of interest especially as it was on our patch.

Did we ask him?

We didn’t ask him for the same reason that I didn’t ask Taylor swift to marry me.

There are clearly better options available to them.

Good addition, we needed someone like him. Looking at the comments on this thread you’d think Leicester City was in the Premier League or something.

Comes to something when Bristol City decide that given their attacking options in hand, they feel it’s the right move for all parties.

A centre forward that can finish, in his prime age-wise and coming off the back of a decent season last year for Bristol and dropping down a division.  Four years is, I suppose, the trade-off to secure him. Hopefully he's someone who can get us back to the Championship and be more of a squad player if we push from there.  Probably someone we'll look to move on ourselves in time.  Get behind him.
