He's a young striker, got a bit of pace and a bit of skill and can finish well, mate saw him vs Forest and said he was quality, this is the same one who told me he was worth a million pound though... :-/ I will be amazed if we sign him.

I doubt he'll come as well. If he's gotta go and think about a contract, i expect him to turn it down and wait to see who else comes in for him!

To be replaced by emile heskey from birmingham for £1.5m More rubbish from football rumours but how would everyone feel about a Heskey return IF it did happen??

I'm not sure Emile could possibly replace DeVries!!!!!!!! But just a thought. Does anyone else think Emile will end up making a better centre-half than centre-forward?

Does anyone else think Emile will end up making a better centre-half than centre-forward? he cant tackle , he be giving 2 penaltys away every game not many centre forwards would get the better of him for pace or in the air though so i understand your point . he was quite effective for us when he played left side and cut in , i still rate him as a striker though , a good foil for a poacher

You just have to look at some of the goals he's scored for us to know that he is a quality player, the goal against Arsenal at Filbert Street for example where he just ran at defenders. I reckon that Heskey was better for us than Ryan Smith is now!
