davieG Posted 6 January 2006 Author Posted 6 January 2006 Is trundle out of our price range then? I thought I read he was injured and out for 4/5 weeks?
chili_con_carne Posted 6 January 2006 Posted 6 January 2006 fowler is on 40 grand a week at man city they are not likely to give him out on loan for free. so stop getting excited and thinking robbie fowler is coming to leicester..cus hes not matt jansen is more realistic
dan_84 Posted 6 January 2006 Posted 6 January 2006 hopefully whoever we sign will bring along someone who can actually create something from the midle of midfield. theres currently too much pressure on Smith and all teams are goin to do is put 2 players on him to stop the effect he has.
l444ry Posted 6 January 2006 Posted 6 January 2006 I sincerely hope not. I thought he'd had a mini revival at Cardiff, but they all think he's shite. He might be better than de Vries but that's no reason to sign him. We might not be that glamourous to play for, but i'd rather us gamble on someone else. I have heard Ricketts mentioned alot recently and it's scaring me. I agree Ric. The fact that he's accumulating more clubs than Jack Nicklaus should alert us to the fact that all his previous managers can't be wrong in moving him on.
connolly19 Posted 6 January 2006 Posted 6 January 2006 I read on a West Ham messageboard that Terrance Brown had enquires for Bobby Zamora, and he was mulling over the offers. Could this be the striker we are going for? He has a proven track record in this division and he nearly joined us when Adams was in charge. I think that him and Hume up front would be lethal in this division.
Ive got the blues Posted 6 January 2006 Posted 6 January 2006 Is trundle out of our price range then? , yes he's a great player but not one to sign, he is old 29 going on thirty and would cost 1mill +, also his image rights are owned by him at swansea and he makes a hell of alot of money from that. its just not possible to sign him with the money we have
steve_wilson101 Posted 6 January 2006 Posted 6 January 2006 I read on a West Ham messageboard that Terrance Brown had enquires for Bobby Zamora, and he was mulling over the offers. No imo, he's not the same player he once was, after the motorbike crash and the coma he was in he's never really been able to recapture who he was.

Thracian Posted 6 January 2006 Posted 6 January 2006 This is also on the SKY web site in an article over the possible collapse of the CREWE deal to sign Gareth MC Auley. "The Leicester City board have recently handed manager Craig Levein a bumper transfer kitty, although it is believed that his priority lies in adding a proven goalscorer to his misfiring squad. Should The Foxes find that they are left with a cash surplus, however, Levein may well move for the 26-year-old, with local reports suggesting that he may even arrive at The Walkers Stadium within the next few weeks." Love the bit about a BUMPER Kitty Perhaps they meant a fat cat to accompany him! Only joking
Thracian Posted 6 January 2006 Posted 6 January 2006 How much would Fowlers wages be though.. Too much probably but there's talk of Man City paying half.
Lester LXXIV Posted 6 January 2006 Posted 6 January 2006 Mads Timm has joined Walsall, remember him being linked to us a few months back!!??
syston_fox Posted 6 January 2006 Posted 6 January 2006 http://www.lcfc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/News/...~764839,00.html Levein speaks.....and gives no clues away!
filbertway Posted 6 January 2006 Posted 6 January 2006 I guess there will be an announcement soon, by 7 i would have thought?
syston_fox Posted 6 January 2006 Posted 6 January 2006 I doubt it will be today. Sometime tomorrow at earliest.
Polyphonic Posted 6 January 2006 Posted 6 January 2006 de vries from the foxes Sorry had to post this off football rumours!!! Again I'll say it, I love football-rumours.com it allows you to post any lies you like ! I mean if I was a footy manager i'd be trying sign Super Lump ??
Leicester Rule! Posted 6 January 2006 Posted 6 January 2006 Who could this mystetrious player be!! Hope he bags a hat trick against Spurs!!! It could be from the Premiership or our divison as otherwise he would be cup ties most possibly as most other clubs have particpated in the cup so far!! Or Abroad?!?
sam_lcfc Posted 6 January 2006 Posted 6 January 2006 ive heard the rumour that we are getting russell hoult as short term cover for rab douglas who is poo!! and also heard about that lincoln defender....macauley is it?! why!!!? i think zamora would be an inspired loan signing but also agree that levein is crap in the transfer market and we'll probably end up with a crappy scottish striker!!!
Cal Posted 6 January 2006 Posted 6 January 2006 Whoever or whatever turns out to be our striker, They've certainly built it up to be a 'Big' capture.. I feel we will all either be impressed or disappointed with Craig's signing.
Fox in a Box Posted 6 January 2006 Posted 6 January 2006 Sanel Kuljic Is the Austrain name being banded around!!! Villa, Everton and Fulham are also interested apprently
Bluefoxtim Posted 6 January 2006 Posted 6 January 2006 Whoever or whatever turns out to be our striker, They've certainly built it up to be a 'Big' capture..I feel we will all either be impressed or disappointed with Craig's signing. what else would we think?
The People's Hero Posted 6 January 2006 Posted 6 January 2006 Todorov would be a good signing but don't forget that 'Arry really rates him.
