Filbert Fox

Did anyone see him on the pitch before the game last night? I reckon he was on speed or something but it was good to see him actually doing something for a change other than just walk round. I mean he was actually dancing in the centre circle as the teams came out!

I reckon he should be infront of the kop during the game. Dishing out some abuse to opposing palyers when taking corners, running up and down/celebrating with players when we score etc.

I would actually pay to be Filbert for 1 game just to do all those things - may even go down to the opposing fans and wind them up too! Goad them after we score etc.

Remember the days when he used to come into the Kop at Filbert Street!?!

Recently he has been trying to gee up the crowd before games, Before KO he runs upto the Kop, Throwing his arms up - Gesturing to the fans make some noise basically.

He picks up one of the ball boys plastic seats and bangs it on the ground in front of the Kop to try and get people singing. A lot more animated recently.

So easy to misinterpret the gestures.

What he means is "rush to the food kiosks, only a handful of balti pies left."

I was reading a post on 606 from soem guy seeing he used to bait the opponent fans at Filbert Street. He'd be in the kop starting riots... lol

Oh he did! It was great all the away fans being taunted by a guy in a Fox costume right up against the fence. Ah those were the days! :D

There's been loads, I'm not sure whether it's the same person every week.

I'm sure it is. He does the same things every week. He must be fit to run around in that costume like he does. He's amazing! So funny!

I think the Filbert Fox that jumped into Pen 1 to have a go at the Millwall fans when the new stand was being built at Filbo actually got the sack!

The one at the games is the same one but theres a different one for the other events. Like when he's at Dominoes or does Birthday parties etc, it wont be the same guy from the games! Think thats how it works anyway.

Thats ashame, he should have been awarded a medal for giving em some stick! Its about time the mascots fought back and were allowed to do stuff like that.

Couldn't have been, the Millwall fans were banned for that game...

Sorry to bring this topic up, but thought it better than to create my own.

IIRC, when Filbert used to dance like a nutter in the centre circle before the game, they played some classical music, which I'd like to know the name of.

It's not Oh Fortuna, I know that much. Pretty sure this happened before numerous games at the time this topic was posted. Mozart, maybe? :/

We've got a new filbert now. The old bloke was showing him the ropes at grace road last month.

Unless they've got a jobshare going on.

Do you reckon that suit is big enough to crack one off in without people noticing?
