Shipman Out Posted 18 January 2006 Posted 18 January 2006 Everyone knows foxestalk is far superior to talking balls not that we go on about it, the other lot are always slagging off the members on here, apparently we dont go to as many games and the quality of the postings are much higher on talkingballs, i have also seen foxestalk described as chav talk. They must be jealous that we get quoted all over the place, bitter and twisted and yes talking balls.

holly Posted 18 January 2006 Posted 18 January 2006 i aint even heard of talking balls!! yeh well let them moan, aslong as we all like posting here what does it matter, and tbh who are they to judge whether they go to more games than us, only we know how many games we go to!!
Shipman Out Posted 18 January 2006 Author Posted 18 January 2006 Im a member of both so im not bothered, someone wrote it in an E-Mail to Tim Davies, which i think was a bit unfair to people on here. Stir the hornets nest

Ricey Posted 18 January 2006 Posted 18 January 2006 Just to clear, the thins Shipman Out mentioned were included in an email to Tim Davies by a TB poster. I don't mind TB but what he said was total rubbish, it's far you get a topic on therew that hasn't gone totally off-topic by the 10th post or so.
Manwell Pablo Posted 18 January 2006 Posted 18 January 2006 I do have to say some of the posts on this website (footballing wise) are dreadful. and there are a few people who openly admit to not going to games. So you can see where their coming from.

Im 28 yrs old and find this site the best ive tried for news and chat on Leicester City.

I read the topic and both as always are false accusations... the amount of times they repeat themselves... . We've probably double the amount of active members than Talking Balls has, and what that obviously will bring is more of a mix in age range.

Im 28 yrs old and find this site the best ive tried for news and chat on Leicester City. I didn't say you weren't entitled to your opinion. They said their members go to more games, I said quite a few of ours don't. So I see where their coming from. If you go to the games you obviosuly have more of a idea on the teams performance, shotcomings ect.
Darth Fox Posted 18 January 2006 Posted 18 January 2006 I will admit I haven't been since Blackpool in FA cup last season. My main reasons for not going are financial(mortgage, bills, nagging missus) and I don't feel the football being dished up is worth the money being charged. This season I've chosen to attend more Hinckley Utd and Foxes Reserve matches than Leicester 1st team as I don't feel robbed. If things at Leicester change I will go back. Just because I don't attend doesn't mean I can't have an opinion though. In the past I've had season tickets and attended other seasons plenty of times but now the product has to be worth watching and it isn't.
Darth Fox Posted 18 January 2006 Posted 18 January 2006 And I'm 30 years old and chose Foxestalk as easy to use and it looks professional.
SystonFox Posted 18 January 2006 Posted 18 January 2006 re ; we get quoted alot more than they do? anyone know where we are quoted? are we as a website famous?
Babylon Posted 18 January 2006 Posted 18 January 2006 re ; we get quoted alot more than they do? anyone know where we are quoted? are we as a website famous? By Thracian in his "news" articles and that is it. Both are quoted in the mercury quite often.

TornadoShaunUK Posted 18 January 2006 Posted 18 January 2006 I read whats on there aswell. I did sign up once but forgot my username etc and can't be bothered to sign up again. Some of us are members on both anyway. I was reading an insulting post about people on here on that site where they said it is mostly populated by chavs..! .. Ratby is full of chavs but I am certainly not one of them

Libertine Posted 18 January 2006 Posted 18 January 2006 Pretty stupid having bitch fests about websites. We're all Leicester fans and whichever site you're on it makes no difference to the quality of your post or opinion. Talking Balls is hilarious and has some quality posters, but the same can be said of FoxesTalk. Spread t'love.
