Phube Posted 24 January 2006 Posted 24 January 2006 Bit early isn't it??? But since you started it: Douglas (Actually been alright past few games!) Stearman (best attacking right sided player!) McCarthy Gerrbrand Sheehan (at least he's got a left foot!) Hammond (must be tried on the right wing to add pace!) Williams Wesolowski Smith Hume Fryatt 4-4-1-1 For me Hughes just isn't up to his best yet, and I think he's put on a lot of weight (no I'm turning into Heat Magazine) really cutting his fitness!!

wonderboy Posted 24 January 2006 Posted 24 January 2006 Agree with wonderboy there, except i would replace dublin with Gerrbrand. i think the defence has done well with dion leading them but also gerrbrand has done well when he has played so he is a ready made replacement for dion with say 25 mins to go ps: for the love of god craig dont pick kisnorbo

Newcastle_Fox Posted 24 January 2006 Posted 24 January 2006 http://www.lcfc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/News/...~772895,00.html Boss Previews Plymouth ClashCraig Levein says that James Wesolowski could be handed a shock start when the Foxes take on Plymouth on Tuesday evening (7:45pm). Wesolowski's emergence from the Academy was put on hold when the 18-year-old broke his leg during the pre-season friendly against Celtic last July. But the Australian midfielder made his first senior appearances as a second half substitute in Leicester's 2-1 defeat at the hands of Cardiff City on Saturday, and now he could be in line for place in the starting line up when City take on the Pilgrims at Home Park. Levein said: "James came on for the last 15 minutes against Cardiff on Saturday and he has shown no reaction to that this morning (Monday). There could, therefore, be an opportunity for him to start the game against Plymouth. It's good to see him back." The two sides originally locked horns back in November - but the elements got the better of the Home Park pitch on that occassion. He added: "The last game was called off - and rightly so. I'm not sure what the forecast is for Tuesday night, but hopefully we won't be in for a similar deluge this time round." The game gives City an opportunity to pull out of the relegation zone, while the hosts will be looking to springboard up to 16th position with a win. "Plymouth are in the middle of a reasonable run right now and they are just digging out results. That's what we need to do," said Levein. "We know how Plymouth play. We are pretty sure what their personnel are going to be so we are going to have to go down there and grind out a result. That's what Tuesday night is all about." Gareth Williams has been ruled out of the game with an ankle injury, while Joey Gudjonsson is available once again after serving a two match suspension. The Foxes will wear their yellow third kit for the fixture. Edit: http://www.foxestalk.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=15557
TAFKA Castroneves Posted 24 January 2006 Posted 24 January 2006 I have never been more concerned about a match, this is as important as it gets for the near future - and maybe the long term future. With that said... COME ON CITY!
Krishbish Posted 24 January 2006 Posted 24 January 2006 Yehh, please understand that city dont need kisnorbo. A good result depends on whos playing Douglas Stearman Dublin McCarthy Johansson Hughes Gujonsson Williams Wesloweski Hume Fryatt
Cat Burger Posted 24 January 2006 Posted 24 January 2006 What about Weso left, smith right and Hughes and Joey in the central positions? Weso was raised as a left mid wasn't he? A wing place would help ease him into the action again too I feel.
Ric Flair Posted 24 January 2006 Posted 24 January 2006 What about Weso left, smith right and Hughes and Joey in the central positions? Weso was raised as a left mid wasn't he? A wing place would help ease him into the action again too I feel. He was raised as a right sided midfielder, so play him there and Smith in his natural position on the left.
Durnerz Posted 24 January 2006 Posted 24 January 2006 Douglas Stearman Johansson Mccarthy Sheehan Hammond Gudjonsson Wesolowski Smith Hume Fryatt Subs: Henderson, Gerrbrand, Hughes, Kisnorbo, De Vries Maybury shouldnt be anywhere near the squad until he's sorted his attitude out.

sam_lcfc Posted 24 January 2006 Posted 24 January 2006 Douglas Stearman Johansson Mccarthy Sheehan Hammond Gudjonsson Wesolowski Smith Hume Fryatt Subs: Henderson, Gerrbrand, Hughes, Kisnorbo, De Vries Maybury shouldnt be anywhere near the squad until he's sorted his attitude out. id agree with that as well...id play that team at the moment even if sylla and williams were fit. hope wesolowski is as good as everyone at the club is making out...??
Jon the Hat Posted 24 January 2006 Posted 24 January 2006 Any manager who uses the phrase "grinding out results" should be shot. I know Craig, how about rather than going down their and "grinding out a result" we go and play them off the park, aim for a comfortable win and give ourselves some confidence. No? WHY THE F**K NOT? IT'S PLYMOUTH!!!!!
Bert Posted 24 January 2006 Posted 24 January 2006 Is this the earliest EVER match thread?? Anyway. . . . COME ON YOU YELLOWS
