Anish Posted 24 January 2006 Posted 24 January 2006 One Craig Levein, there's only one Craig Levein... Shame we're the ones that he's f***ing managing - go back to Scotland you fool! Kisnorbo still in midfield, Levein just proves what an arrogant t**t he is. No width, De Vries still ahead of Hume. There's only one way we're going to play tonight - that's long ball up to De Vries.
Phube Posted 24 January 2006 Posted 24 January 2006 FFS... can everyone lay off the bloody moaning until the game actually starts. I would love to, and eat my pessimistic words, but Kisnorbo, an attacking left winger!!!! Arrrggghhh!!!
Jimmy Posted 24 January 2006 Posted 24 January 2006 apart from maybury for sheehan i'm happy with that
Babylon Posted 24 January 2006 Posted 24 January 2006 I would love to, and eat my pessimistic words, but Kisnorbo, an attacking left winger!!!! Arrrggghhh!!! See Lushs post in the city forum.... I'd be happier if it was like how Lush has put it.
MONreborn Posted 24 January 2006 Posted 24 January 2006 smith must surely have taken a knock or something, it must be the reason. To be fair Smith was poor on saturday, but Kisornobo was just anamonous! Smith is probably pissed off at Arsenal signing Walcott, If I was in his position, I would be too This is a formation which would have worked if we still had someone like Jordan Stewart at left back, but defintley not with Maybury or Kisornobo at left back.
Babylon Posted 24 January 2006 Posted 24 January 2006 apart from maybury for sheehan i'm happy with that So am I.... it looks very solid at the back and I like the midfield. Lets see if it actually happens.
TornadoShaunUK Posted 24 January 2006 Posted 24 January 2006 yes lets play all the donkeys again.. well done Levein.. never mind a miracle to survive I think it will take something not far off a miracle to win this f**king match.. I hope the gods are smiling on us tonight
Libertine Posted 24 January 2006 Posted 24 January 2006 ------------------Douglas------------------- ----------Kisnorbo-------McCarthy------Johansson--------- Stearman---------------------------------------------Maybury Hughes----Joey----Weso MDV----Fryatt I assume it's like that. <_<
theboywillmott Posted 24 January 2006 Posted 24 January 2006 Is it 5 at the back, or is Kisnobrot playing sat infront of the defence?
Mark Posted 24 January 2006 Posted 24 January 2006 If it was 3-5-2 i think that would work quite well. Surely makes more sense than Kisnorbo on the left wing
Steven Posted 24 January 2006 Posted 24 January 2006 From the OS. Two Changes For CityJames WesolowskiCity boss Craig Levein hands a full debut to James Wesolowski as Leicester go in search of a much needed win at Plymouth tonight. Wesolowski, who broke his leg during a pre-season friendly against Celtic in the summer, made his first appearance for the senior squad in the 2-1 defeat at the hands of Cardiff on Saturday. And Levein gauged enough from that performance to put his faith in the 18-year-old for the crucial game against the Pilgrims. City could line up in a 3-5-2 formation as they look to register only their second league away win of the campaign. Joey Gudjonsson makes a welcome return to the squad after serving a two-match suspension for accumulating 10 yellow cards for the season, and he looks set to be partnered in the middle of the park by Stephen Hughes and the youngster Wesolowski. Matty Fryatt continues in attack alongside Mark de Vries, while Patrick Kisnorbo swaps midfield for a place as one of the centre halves. The Plymouth starting line up contains former Fox Lilian Nalis, who lines up against his former employers for the third time this season having previously pitted his wits against Leicester for Sheffield United and Coventry City. City: Douglas; McCarthy, Kisnorbo, Johansson; Stearman, Hughes, Wesolowski, Gudjonsson, Maybury; Fryatt, de Vries. Subs: Hume, O'Grady, Hammond, Smith, Hamill.
syston_fox Posted 24 January 2006 Posted 24 January 2006 I think Stearman and Maybury are playing a bit more attacking than that.... if thats the case then im quite happy with the team tonight. Ideally i would like to see Hume start with Fryatt but Im prepared to give this side a go.
Phube Posted 24 January 2006 Posted 24 January 2006 See Lushs post in the city forum.... I'd be happier if it was like how Lush has put it. I see your point, and yes Stearman can play that RWB role but but Maybury can't do LWB, not even LB. But I can live with Kisnorbo there. Doing the simple things okay-ish.
davieG Posted 24 January 2006 Posted 24 January 2006 Well we could kid ourselves it's a 352 but it's more likely a 532 either way there are no wingers and no naturally left footed players in the team apart from Nissa. So it's slighly less defensive than his 451 option. doesn't look like a team with many goals in it.
LCFC UK Posted 24 January 2006 Posted 24 January 2006 Wonder if Nalis will be starting for Plymouth Sorry, just read the above..he is playing
Libertine Posted 24 January 2006 Posted 24 January 2006 Wonder if Nalis will be starting for Plymouth Plymouth: Larrieu, Barness, Nalis, Norris, Evans, Chadwick, Kouo-Doumbe, Capaldi, Wotton ©, Aljofree, Ward. Subs: Buzsaky, Hodges, McCormick, Zebroski, Djordjic.
LCFC UK Posted 24 January 2006 Posted 24 January 2006 Intresting, only player i have ever heard out of that team is Nalis and Chadwick. Why do leicester 'on paper' look like one of the best teams in the league, yet are bottom of the league, just cant get my head round that at all Plymouth: Larrieu, Barness, Nalis, Norris, Evans, Chadwick, Kouo-Doumbe, Capaldi, Wotton ©, Aljofree, Ward. Subs: Buzsaky, Hodges, McCormick, Zebroski, Djordjic.
Jimmy Posted 24 January 2006 Posted 24 January 2006 Barber reckons Kisnobshite on the left. yes but barber is a retarded derby fan
Libertine Posted 24 January 2006 Posted 24 January 2006 Barber reckons Kisnobshite on the left. Fool. But I suppose it's understandable, anything CL does isn't really a surprise.
Babylon Posted 24 January 2006 Posted 24 January 2006 Barber reckons Kisnobshite on the left. Great...
Bert Posted 24 January 2006 Posted 24 January 2006 "it goes to show how desperate he is to score goals" good one Colin, well if he's that Desperate, why play Kisnorbo and De Vries and Not Smith and Hume??
Milky Posted 24 January 2006 Posted 24 January 2006 can wesolowski really play right back? i didn't know that
LCFC UK Posted 24 January 2006 Posted 24 January 2006 Absolutley cracking Barber reckons Kisnobshite on the left.
Babylon Posted 24 January 2006 Posted 24 January 2006 "it goes to show how desperate he is to score goals" good one Colin, well if he's that Desperate, why play Kisnorbo and De Vries and Not Smith and Hume?? I'd say he was desperate to not let any in.... Lets face it that's screwing us more than not scoring the last few games.
