Any one use this? Heres mine.Ken's Space

It's much easier putting links and pictures on here than the OS. I was trying to put a link into a pic and kept losing parts of my sig. Not very good there at the moment. Some idiot finds it funny to put on my real name without my permission then start taking the piss. Easily ignored but others are not helping by keep bringing the thread to the top with lol replies. At least there are people on here that know how how far this sort of thing can go and remove threads that are out of order.

:P

i dont get what all the fuss is about. from what i see, its basically a "older aged market" of faceparty (which is basically a site for young girls / lads to letch over each other without ever meeting). it seems like the people on MySpace are all emo's or uni students. is it a cult thing? Radio1 seem to be obsessed with it thats for sure.

faceparty is crap though!! no offence anyone who likes it!! myspace you cant letch though coz you have to be added and accepted as a friend to even send them a message!!

oh, and no offence holly, but the music on your page in cringeworthy :whistle:

ok bored now at trying to edit this thing, dont understand how to do anything ;)

I promise I won't letch, even though I was economical with the truth about my age..

TBH I don't really want the gym slip girlies chasing me. Well maybe one or two. :D

Well... there really ought not to be such a fuss about it--it should be a fun little thing to do online, but some people take their MySpace to the next level and beyond. It can be very fun, though.

I use MySpace to keep in touch with friends from near and far. I've got a bunch of friends that live far away, some of whom I've not seen in a couple of years. Sometimes I'll see that I've got a new comment on my page, wonder who it is, then see that it's an old friend keeping an old inside joke going by posting some ridiculuos photo on my page. That stuff is priceless.

It's also a good way to check up on bands that I like--when bands that I like (that are on MS) announce new tour dates, releases of new material, etc., I can find out simply by logging in and checking bulletins/their pages. It makes following bands much easier.

Also, I've got friends who are in bands, so joining MySpace and adding them as friends is another way for me to show support and wish them luck in their endeavors. If someone clicks on a link to their pages from my friends list, he or she might become a new fan (which is important when you're still in the DIY stage).

Put something like this at the top of "About me" for your background

<style type="text/css">

body{background-image: url("");
background-repeat: no-repeat;
background-attachment:fixed;
background-position: center;
background-color:000000}

</style>

I'm sure there was a page that explains all the rest but I can't find it at the moment, that should sort your background though :thumbup:

Ah right, thanks for that. I shall change it later.

You don't have to be someones friend to view their profile, if they've set their profile to private then yes, and you can send anyone a message!!
