Anyone seen better odds for Fryatt as top scorer in L1 than 33/1 (William Hill)?

Nope thats the biggest price.

Im on it £5 e/w

Think I might put it on myself. Good odds for him, considering we should be strong in the league, and we and Fryatt in particularly have been scoring well in preseason. I'm pretty sure he's no. 1 striker here now as well, with Howard and Campbell competing for the other spot.

Was one of the tipsters on here telling us to watch out for a horse called - Dressed to Dance a few weeks ago?

I've tried a search on the thread for it but search is switched off so can't.

Newmarket @ 7.30 currently 6/1. (3rd Favourite)

Templegate's treble bet.

I'm tempted to have it in a double with Masaalek (3.30 @ Goodwood)

I've just stuck £10 on Maasalek 4/1 due to the high draw.

I've gone all out with Templegate today.

First winner at all three meetings this afternoon :thumbup:

Yeah that was me. I told everyone about it a fair few weeks ago and it won 3 races in quick succession. Bert lumped on and we both won a fair bit of money.

I shall be backing it again, although i'm sure the winning streak will come to an end at some point.

Cheers for letting me know it's running.

I wanted a couple of quid on the first race with Sixties Icon but turned my laptop on at 2.05ish when I got in from work and it was too slow so didn't manage to get any money on it, I following Templegate with his next two tips they did dogshite, I then went on Prolific in the 4th race and won, 5th race I went back with Templegate in a double on (4.40) Sohcahtoa & (5.15) Visit. Sohcahtoa has won that race just hoping for Visit to win the next race now!

I did have it in the double like I said but Masaalek came 2nd, I had the double e/w so hopefully, maybe will get something back, Might back Dressed to Dance in a single aswell though.

Woohoo!

£15.17 returns from a £1 Double! :cool:

At 2.15pm I put £10 in my account as I had fluttered the money in account away, at 5.25pm I now have £25.67. Not a bad afternoons work (Not brilliant, but i'm happy with it bearing in mind I went right down to £3 left in my account at one point over the afternoon), still got one bet in progress aswell.

Think I will have a single on Dressed to Dance now.

Come on then, who's going to win outright in the 4 leagues?

I'm going to go for a few accumulators. My first one is;

Man United

Sheffield United

Leicester

Shrewsbury

£1 returns £1254.

A couple of these could be fun. So what others shall I go for?

I did this last year, I do plan to do it this year but League One puzzles me, I want to bet on Leicester but don't want to jinx Leicester as much as I hate Leeds I think i'll be picking them.

I think i'm going for;

Man Utd.

Birmingham.

Leeds.

Darlington.

The one I did last year I had e/w which I will be doing this year, I was 1 team away from getting my e/w money back which would have been £30 odd back (From 70p e/w) which i'd have been more than happy with...Charlton were the team that fooked me up. Bastards.

What is 'each way' - whenever I'm betting online I never really see it. Does it mean that only a few of the bets have to happen for you to make money?

Each Way is when you bet for your pick to finish in the top 2 3 or 4 and sometimes 5 Usually if your pick is 16/1 then the each way price will be 4/1 16/5 depends what you bet on.

It's normally done on horse racing but it's also popular these days with golf.

For example if you bet something at 16/1 £5 e/w the bet will cost you £10 £5 for the win and £5 for the place 2nd 3rd 4th or 5th.

I usually don't bet e/w unless the horse is at least 16/1.

Most betting sites have a little box you have to tick if you want e/w

As far as the football bet your on about goes;

Premier League = 1/3 Odds for a Place - 1st or 2nd place.

Championship = 1/4 Odds for a Place - 1st, 2nd, 3rd place.

League One = 1/4 Odds for a Place - 1st, 2nd, 3rd place.

League Two = 1/4 Odds for a Place - 1st, 2nd, 3rd place.

For example go to - http://www.ladbrokes.com/betCalculator/betCalc.html

Click Accumulator

Enter your odds

Click display each way - Enter 1/3 on your Premiership bet, 1/4 for Championship/League One/League Two.

Enter your unit stake (Which if you want to bet a total stake of £1 would be 50p - Just enter half of what you want to pay in total)

Click Calculate

Basically for you bet (Man Utd @ 11/8, Sheff Utd @ 10/1, Leicester City @ 5/1, Shrewsbury @ 7/1) if you went 50p e/w (£1 Total Stake) if all teams win there respective leagues you would win £642.79.

If all team come in as a place (1st or 2nd Premier League OR 1st, 2nd, 3rd in Championship/League One/League Two) you would win £15.79. (But if 1 comes as a place and the rest win there league you would still only win this)

Hope this helps - I've probably just confused you even more though.

Blue Square pay out on top 4 on each way bets, the only company to do so i believe.
im talking about the post above mine.

In every league? Including the Premiership?

If so might look at the bigger picture for the Premiership bet, Might look if it works out better to have and e/w bet including someone like Liverpool maybe Villa (Not sure they'd make the top 4 though) or someone.

Then have another will Man Utd which hopefully all the teams will win the respective leagues in that bet.
