Ric Flair Posted 9 March 2006 Posted 9 March 2006 Henderson Stearman McCarthy © Kisnorbo Nissa Maybury Gudjonsson Hughes Welsh Fryatt Hume Subs: Gerrbrand, Elvis, O'Grady, Logan, Smith/Williams
Foxing_Around Posted 9 March 2006 Posted 9 March 2006 Looks good to me Ric, Welsh certainly warrants a place in the team IMO.
Jimmy Posted 9 March 2006 Posted 9 March 2006 Henderson Stearman McCarthy © Kisnorbo Nissa Maybury Gudjonsson Hughes Welsh Fryatt Hume Subs: Gerrbrand, Elvis, O'Grady, Logan, Smith/Williams smith in for maybury other than that same as yours
willy37 Posted 9 March 2006 Posted 9 March 2006 yer ive not been impressed with maybury at rm, ive said it once and ill say it again, why doesnt he let elvis have a pop in that position, hes quick and direct, not a great crosser but neither is mabury

Jimmy Posted 9 March 2006 Posted 9 March 2006 Basically for the added height he gives the team elvis is taller than maybury
The Don Posted 9 March 2006 Posted 9 March 2006 elvis is taller than maybury Well, he doesn't use it very effectively. Maybury will win headers, Elvis won't.
Phube Posted 9 March 2006 Posted 9 March 2006 smith in for maybury other than that same as yours I'm with you!!
Frenzied Posted 9 March 2006 Posted 9 March 2006 Henderson Stearman McCarthy © Kisnorbo Nissa Maybury Gudjonsson Hughes Welsh Fryatt Hume Subs: Gerrbrand, Elvis, O'Grady, Logan, Smith/Williams Like it. I'd keep Maybury in too for his defensive qualities and the fact that he and Stearman can interchange.
Jimmy Posted 9 March 2006 Posted 9 March 2006 ok i'm worried now, too many people are agreeing with me
Louise Posted 9 March 2006 Posted 9 March 2006 Henderson Stearman McCarthy © Kisnorbo Nissa Maybury Gudjonsson Hughes Welsh Fryatt Hume Subs: Gerrbrand, Elvis, O'Grady, Logan, Smith/Williams Same except Douglas in for Henderson... (he's fit now btw)
holly Posted 9 March 2006 Posted 9 March 2006 Henderson Stearman McCarthy © Kisnorbo Nissa Maybury Gudjonsson Hughes Welsh Fryatt Hume Subs: Gerrbrand, Elvis, O'Grady, Logan, Smith/Williams yeh agree with that!!
Mark Posted 9 March 2006 Posted 9 March 2006 --------------------Henderson------------------- Stearman---McCarthy--Kisnorbo---Johansson Maybury-----Gudjonsson--Hughes-----Welsh ------------------Fryatt----Hume---------------- Subs: Douglas, Smith, Williams, Gradel, O'Grady Should be an exciting game looking at these shooting stats. Luton are not in the best of form and have been conceding a few lately, score bagfuls at home though. I'd prefer us to go there and attack them, get a win playing with 2 proper wingers, with Gradel coming on towards the end to finish them off But anyway, that will surely be the starting 11. Unless Kelly panics and puts Hughes out wide left again worrying about the threat of Carlos Edwards

Unless Kelly panics and puts Hughes out wide left again worrying about the threat of Carlos Edwards I think 90% of the users on this board agree with that basic lineup - in fact, the ones that object only make one change themselves. Isn't it nice? Douglas has trained, but Kelly maintains he's in no rush to bring him back in - he doesn't want to throw him in until he's 100% and so on. So Henderson will probably start, Douglas on the bench as suggested above. I don't know about Gradel - he doesn't even have a squad number yet It sure would be nice to bring on a reserve player if we manage to get ourselves a comfortable lead - how about Chambers?
potter3 Posted 9 March 2006 Posted 9 March 2006 Porter? See if hes is good enough... And looking at those stats it shows how poor our finishing was.
