Leicester 12th most supported club in england

Personally I find this difficult to believe. Leicester is an average size City with no other club for around 20 miles. However where are these fans at games? I was surprised Forest and Birmingham didnt even make the top 20!

Surely our position in that table is just guesswork based on the catchment area etc? There's no way we have that many more fans than Sheffield United and Forest, to name but two who aren't in the top 20.

You would be surprised, I know quite a few Leicester fans where I live which is about 50 miles from Leicester

Leicester has a bigger population than Nottingham, but I get your point. If this is the same survey that is on another forum, then the sample was 5,000, and the larger numbers extrapolated thus.

That's true. When I lived in Manchester, there were 4 Leicester City fans on the staff of the school I taught in, and there were 2 more season ticket holders who went to the same church I did...

Not as unpopular as you would think.

Also, Sheffield is, I think, a bigger city, but it has two teams.
