Brainy Posted 15 November 2008 Posted 15 November 2008 Badminton is alright. Most people I know enjoy playing it and they don't even like playing/watching any sport.

Guest Posted 17 November 2008 Posted 17 November 2008 I enjoy badminton. I can even beat Sir Fynwy at it.
Milky Posted 17 November 2008 Posted 17 November 2008 I find badminton is one of those sports where if you don't play for a few years, you're almost back to square one. I used to be alright, now i am shite! oh Milky woahhhhh
Uncle Monty Posted 17 November 2008 Posted 17 November 2008 Just read the thread and would also like to say that i dislike him

purpleronnie Posted 3 January 2009 Posted 3 January 2009 Another fantastic win by Murray against Nadal. 'Are you watching Timid Tim, Are You Watching Timid Tim'
Brainy Posted 3 January 2009 Posted 3 January 2009 You're not a fan surely? You seem to be anti-British for most other sports.
Father Ted Posted 3 January 2009 Posted 3 January 2009 I still hate Andy Murray and always will hate Andy Murray. I am a Novak Djokovic fan - end of.
Simi Posted 3 January 2009 Posted 3 January 2009 Class performance. Really looks like he's going to kick on this year and make some challenges at the major events, although I think the media frenzy surrounding Wimbledon will see him come short then.
Milky Posted 9 January 2009 Posted 9 January 2009 Just beat Federer again, 6-7, 6-2, 6-2. That must be three or four in a row against Fed now, he's really got it over him right now. Fed was rank in the last two sets, he's really a shadow of his former self. 37 unforced errors!! compared to 19 from Murray. Murray was brilliant though so fair play to him.
Joe. Posted 9 January 2009 Posted 9 January 2009 That's five wins out of seven matches against Federer for Murray now, incredible record. Now then, onto that pesky Spaniard...
Milky Posted 9 January 2009 Posted 9 January 2009 Nadal might not be at his peak for long. Very worried about the state of his knees. He's not looked very sharp recently, but it's early season. Murray may never have a better chance to win the Aus open....

Murray may never have a better chance to win the Aus open.... He's now favourite according to one bookies (can't remember which though ).
Darkzzz_ Posted 9 January 2009 Posted 9 January 2009 I think this could be a good year for Murray. I hope to see Novak doing well this year also.
joely22 Posted 10 January 2009 Posted 10 January 2009 I hope to see Novak doing well this year also. He'll do nothing this year. Murray will win at least one Grand Slam this year. He's the form player at the moment and could well see him winning the Aussie Open.
FilboFox Posted 10 January 2009 Posted 10 January 2009 Murray won't win a ****ing thing... he's winning now but looking at the kind of game he plays, to last like that in 7 5-set matches in the heat of Melbourne at this time of year... not a chance. He plays defensive tennis and doesn't really finish points off quickly which he will need to if he is to last in the heat in Oz... personally I'm hoping he falls and breaks his ankle so badly he can't ever play again... bit nasty of me but I can't stand the little sh*t.

purpleronnie Posted 10 January 2009 Posted 10 January 2009 didnt he just win another championship I've done a sex wee.
FilboFox Posted 10 January 2009 Posted 10 January 2009 didnt he just win another championship And? I was referring to the Oz Open so what has that got to do with him being able to win in Melbourne's heat and 7 straight 5 set matches? Just cause he won yet again won't make me like him, it only makes me hate him more... and anyway, I'm sure once the rest of them get their acts together then they'll take over at the top again... Murray's defensive tennis won't last for long at the top before someone if not all of them suss it out.
FilboFox Posted 10 January 2009 Posted 10 January 2009 Plus, he won the Qatar title last year too and he didn't win a Slam or even get close at the Oz... granted this year he is a much better state of mind and has a better game but not only do I not think he'll win, I don't want him too either! Vamos Rafa!
FilboFox Posted 10 January 2009 Posted 10 January 2009 Filbofox has issues. That I do... HATE Murray with a passion, even more so than Federer!!! If he never won another tournament again I'd be ecstatic! That's not going to happen but I can dream... I'd like to think he'd never win a Slam though so that's something I can hope for... he'll never be a massive player that dominates though, that's for sure! ---------- Lovin' the title of the thread! Hehe!
