Daggers Posted 26 June 2006 Posted 26 June 2006 I think we know that there are two distinct camps of opinion on our chances this Saturday... But. It's the Quarter Final of the World Cup [do you reckon I am allowed ot say that without saying FIFA at the begining?] and that means we have to seriously enjoy the day. Me and the family are off the the fan park in Brum again for beers, pies and some low rent local boy band musical talent. Win or lose, outstanding or shite, we are going to have a World Cup party because WE ARE IN THE 1/4 finals! Come everyone - how are you going to party?

Nationwider Posted 26 June 2006 Posted 26 June 2006 Whilst watching the match, I'm going to have a cup of tea, some malt loaf and wait for the undercoat to dry before glossing into the evening sunshine.
Ric Flair Posted 27 June 2006 Posted 27 June 2006 Whilst watching the match, I'm going to have a cup of tea, some malt loaf and wait for the undercoat to dry before glossing into the evening sunshine. Which really translates in to, i'll be up at 8.30am and my first drink will be a 4 pint pitcher of special brew. I'll then go down the pub at 10.30am where I won't eat all day and i'll continue to drink obscene amounts of ale until I follow through. Hopefully England will win to make the accident worth it. Am I correct? I'm looking forward to saturday, this is where it all starts and hopefully doesn't end. England till I die.

Yea, if you phone up the ticket office you can pay for them over the phone £3.50 - normal person £2.50 - unemployed, kid over 5, stoodent, that kind of thing £free - tiny person Ticket Hotline: 0121 303 2323 - don't book online because the system is seriously fckd up. The Website Hope that helps Oh...you have to book in advance and collect tickets at the desk at the entrance. No one will be able to buy a ticket on the day There's a beer tent and a food tent. There's a raised area with beer tables where people can stand. The astro-turf is for sitting on (until the avalanche of goals raises everyone to their feet in jubilation )
