davieG Posted 17 July 2006 Author Posted 17 July 2006 Long may the heat wave continue....global warming does have it's advantages!!!! Well it's too bloody hot for me sitting in a little office at home built into the roof space of a bungalow with a south facing skylight, If it should deem to rain, which is unlikely I'd be outside in a shot running around starkers getting soaked to the skin. Oh joy. Edited to say you probably didn't need to know about the starkers bit, oh what the hell it's to hot to think about it.

Alexikokopops Posted 17 July 2006 Posted 17 July 2006 Probably the funnest weather to work in when you're a binman. Especially with the green waste bins we have round here, full of grass and sitting in the sun all day. Damn weather. At least my house is nice and cool.

Daggers Posted 17 July 2006 Posted 17 July 2006 Are people really so stupid that they need a phoneline to help them in case the day is too sunny? Sometimes I wonder how my parents managed it, they didn't even have daytime TV to help them know what to think. No wonder the 70's was so bad...
lookwhaticando Posted 17 July 2006 Posted 17 July 2006 How bad is it over there, temperature wise? Today in Ottawa's a bit rough. Afternoon ambient temperature is 33c (91.4F) but with the humidity, we've got a reading of 43c (109.4F). It's disgusting out there. It's a cool 67F in my dad's appartment, so I'm not going anywhere until darkness falls
