DanTheFoxBhoy Posted 12 August 2006 Posted 12 August 2006 FT 3-1 .. There will be celebrations tonight!
nhfox Posted 12 August 2006 Posted 12 August 2006 Much better performance today RK gets to keep his job for one more game
lookwhaticando Posted 12 August 2006 Posted 12 August 2006 So let me get this straight... We attacked? We had a winger (or two)? We scored first. We scored three. Get In!! :D
TAFKA Castroneves Posted 12 August 2006 Posted 12 August 2006 Credit to Rob Kelly for making the changes for this game, he's not another Levein. We're off now!
Fox 4 Life Posted 12 August 2006 Posted 12 August 2006 Funny what happens when you actually play wingers on the wing ! Great performance, well done Kelly for the changes!
DanTheFoxBhoy Posted 12 August 2006 Posted 12 August 2006 Credit to Rob Kelly for making the changes for this game, he's not another Levein. We're off now! Spot on
City_4_Life Posted 12 August 2006 Posted 12 August 2006 Credit to Rob Kelly for making the changes for this game, he's not another Levein. We're off now! Agreed. Seemed like a good display from Leicester, using the wings much more, playing on the ground, and creating some good chances. Lets just hope we can move forward from this win. Well done lads.
cisono Posted 12 August 2006 Posted 12 August 2006 YESSSSS!!!!! HUGHESY!! Didn't I say that earlier!??!?!
Mort Posted 12 August 2006 Author Posted 12 August 2006 Now that'll do just fine... "That'll do pig, that'll do"
Mort Posted 12 August 2006 Author Posted 12 August 2006 So let me get this straight... We attacked? We had a winger (or two)? We scored first. We scored three. Get In!! :D Pretty much.... Kelly reads the board it would seem, and look what happens when he takes our advice .
cisono Posted 12 August 2006 Posted 12 August 2006 HUME!!!! I can't believe we've scored 3!... :D Impressive
filbertway Posted 12 August 2006 Posted 12 August 2006 Sounded better, play wingers and we attack and create chances and score. Simple.
Steven Posted 12 August 2006 Posted 12 August 2006 Fantastic goal by Iain Hume(Leicester) right-footed (bottom-right of goal) from centre of penalty area (12 yards).Leicester 3-1 Ipswich. Assist (pass) by James Wesolowski(Leicester) from left channel.
cisono Posted 12 August 2006 Posted 12 August 2006 Sounded better, play wingers and we attack and create chances and score. Simple. Simple and effective. (Much better than complicated when it doesn't come off!)
TAFKA Castroneves Posted 12 August 2006 Posted 12 August 2006 Why doesn't Foxestalk buy the club and then we can assist Rob more
filbertway Posted 12 August 2006 Posted 12 August 2006 Simple and effective. (Much better than complicated when it doesn't come off!) Exactly
Phube Posted 12 August 2006 Posted 12 August 2006 Just got back, and what a difference 4 days make!!! Wingers from the start, somebody stole Tiatto and replaced him with an idetical twin who is a good player!! Just a shame Fryatt didn't score... did everything but!!!
SystonFox Posted 12 August 2006 Posted 12 August 2006 just got home from the game. a very impressive display from city from start to finish. a nervey end when ipswich didnt deserve a goal at all but Hume buried them with the last kick. 3 decent goals, 1 disalowed for "offside" which imo was no where near and seconds earlier fryatt rounded the keeper but couldnt get to it. everyone played well, even tiatto! fantastic use of substitions. henderson played well and looked confident and was unlucky with their goal. i hope we can keep this going against cov.

I'm blaming the pitch for that, it just gave way under his feet as he pushed off - giving their defender time to get back!!
SystonFox Posted 12 August 2006 Posted 12 August 2006 aye phube you have a point. he did slip a little. if he'd gone down do you think it would have been a peno as he appeard to grab fryatts leg? but im not sure what would have been given.
